Rancho Manana Resort

Beautiful spacious room! Stunning pool! Fantastic golf course.

Reviewed By MindyFun

The room is bright and very spacious. You will be surrounded by doors and windows. Very cheerful. Clean. Laundry machines in the room. Full kitchen. Plenty of room for a family. The pool is very pretty. You'll have a great experience on the golf course. Parking close to room. On site restaurant but I thought the prices were very, very high. So if you're not wealthy you might want to stock your kitchen with what you need. Overall a great property. Fun bars are a five minute drive.

Just a place to sleep

Reviewed By captkess59

As there are not plenty of places to dine in Tusayan, we picked up some groceries prior to our arrival with intentions to cook some meals in our apartment. Although a full kitchen, no toaster, coffee pot, basic condiments, or sufficient utensils. We drank wine out of coffe mugs, we improvised with a knife to get the cork out of the bottle. A single dose coffee maker with one pod of caffeinated coffe for two adults...really! We have stayed in many apartments in our travels domestically and internationally, this was the most disappointing. Who packs such necessities when traveling thousands of miles in a luggage..you expect them to be there. For the price, not what we expected. On the plus side..close to national park entrance, clean, quiet and nice hot shower

Apartment feeling

Reviewed By marlitt c

First time in beautiful Tucson. We didn’t know where to stayed, so we decided to stayed at Sabino Casitas. It’s more than an apartment complex than casitas, though. There is only a few units in the complex. It is located in a nice gated community. The unit we stayed had 2 spacious bedrooms/2baths. To get to the apartment, customers had to park close to trash cans. Even though it was clean, it didn’t smell clean and fresh. Place needs to be updated. No welcoming goodies or even a complementary water bottle.

Bates Motel

I needed a motel room for one night and due to spring training, there were very few motel rooms available and I settled for this...what a BIG mistake. This was by the far the worst motel experience ever! Since there is no 24/7 front desk, good luck getting any assistance after hours. The hallways smell of a mixture of urine and marijuana. The elevators were dirty and smelled of smoke. The room was not clean, had a very foul odor and my skin was itchy all night on a most uncomfortable bed...very unacceptable. Also, I looked out the window at night and there people hanging out in the parking lot all hours, appeared some were sleeping in their cars. Did not feel safe staying here. Did not sleep all night due to loud yelling and slamming doors. Morning could not come fast enough....Learned my lesson...

I would give this place is 0 Stars if I could Andrew the manager here is Unacceptable and unprofessional. I moved in to my first room here my 6year old brought me a pill, she found on the floor that was Nov. 6th he's stated he would talk to his staff and agreed it wasn't OK. I moved on with my life. Since then the following have happened. I brought it the Regional managers attention (jamie). He has cussed at me while dealing with me or others most of the time 99.9% it's not what he says it's how and I've heard him talking about Residants and staff. I've put in a work order three separate times for my shower vent be fix i was living the handicap unit andrew said both times someone would come and it never happen until another staff member put it in the maintenance was in there within 24hrs even seen him do other unsetting things like look in windows. I leave and return often I work emergency roadside and I've seen and heard so much and I stayed out of it mostly while other residents have had problems because he wrongful attempts to evict people. I moved rooms and in my new room I took pics there was nail on the floor my 6year old brought to me I have a 2 year old as well I brought it to his attention as well as attempted to tell him about the rest of the uncleanly manor the room was in and he told me if I didn't like it I could leave. This is my daughter's life she could've died swallowed it or someone else's child could have I reported to the Regional manager and asked for a name and number above her she refused repeatedly said it's a chain of command thing I'm a vet, I'm familiar with chain of command. However she wouldn't even give a name nor number just told me the will be reprimanded but can't tell me how She also stated that she is already talked to him About some of these problems So I believe the next step should be this man should be fired and I want a number above her or the owner Because the way I see it if I was owner I wouldn't want want my customers being treated like this is a fraction of wants happened while I've lived here the Regional Manager asked if switching to there other hotel but I've heard it's worse plus why not deal with your manager cause it's his job to walk through before it's rented. I came to at the very least respectful given the circumstances because my 6year old found a pill my 2 year could've found it died and now a nail and there's no even an apology Unacceptable behavior. In addition to that the Regional manager said she thinks someone else is in my ear and that's why I'm pushing issue and no it's kids life I'm not happy and determined going to I want something done thisnt OK Literally got him on video be careful renting here. I even feel like there Repercussions for me writing this but I don't care something has to change he Literally laughed at me when I said I was going to corporate review the footage on the camera ! So much more plus video and pictures sad that this what get allowed long list of complaints on this man literally look at the reviews Most of the residents here for transients and I feel like that's exactly why he treats everybody like that because they have no where else to go it's just sad and disgusting be better

One of the worst ever

Reviewed By clward8

This motel was false advertising it’s hotel rooms. First it mentions no where that it is extended stay hotel. I asked for a queen bed suite. The advertisement shows a beautiful whit bed with 3 beautiful white fluffy pillows. It turned out to be a little room that looked like it was from the 50’ with a caved in DOUBLE bed and an ugly bedspread with two little pillows. The bathroom was dirty. They close there office at 8 pm so if you are coming in late forget it. We helped a couple out who arrived about 8:15. The had driven all the way from Colorado. They tried calling the emergency number countless times as did we. Since we weren’t going to stay there we gave them the keys to our room. One more wonderful thing, if you happen to loose or forget those awesome plastic keys, they will charge you $100 to come open the door. I give it a -10 rating

Peaceful vacation

Reviewed By Ray B

There were MANY positives with our stay such as very clean, very spacious, cool comfortable accommodation. We had a three bedroom unit on the ground floor with a great view of the "wash" behind the resort. The staff was VERY friendly and parking was quite ample right outside our unit.. A minor problem with the oven (1 YEAR OLD!) was fixed rather quickly. A friendly (smart!) maintenance man came quite quickly and diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 20 minutes. Ross at the front desk check in was GREAT and made our stay very enjoyable; he is a GEM! Our only problem was the noise of MANY children overhead. We could have had a second floor unit but without an elevator, the steps would have been really hard on "bad knees"overall I would say this place was GREAT! The large pool and special area for children was exceptional. Go there and you will be happy!
