The breakfast is served at the table by the proprietor, but not until 8:00 a.m. Quantities are adequate, however selection is limited. If your only language is English you may face a few problems.

Reviewed By nadi O oWe got there in a rainy evening and we found a new small hotel. Everything was shining, brand new and comfortable. Huge bathroom with all the necessities . The owner young Paulo is very nice. He has a restaurant in the hotel where we had the best meal in our 17 days in Portugal .I HAD THE BEST STEAK IN MY LIFE - POSTA as they call it. The prices of both the hotel and the restaurant are more than reasonable.

Reviewed By Pedro CNice, confortable and cozy place to stay. If you're visiting Montesinho National Park, that's a lovely place for a base camp. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are impeccable clean and confortable. Very nice breakfast, with quite a few choices of bread and homemade cakes. For sure, you won't be desapointed.

Reviewed By mk702What a great find!! Booked this hotel as a nights rest en route to Porto. It is a modern hotel, very clean with lovely rooms. The bed was so comfortable with a great choice of pillows. The breakfast had so much choice with homemade yoghurts, fruit toppings, jams as well as cakes & tarts. The gentleman who served breakfast was so helpful and gave us a route to Porto through the mountains which was breathtaking and so glad we went that route. Also visited the nearby lake which again was stunning. If you’re in the area, staying here is a must.

Reviewed By LORIT123a bit outside of centre but on a hill (with a view) and quiet, brandnew (a bit overdone), nice host, ok breakfast (loads of cakes), easy to walk downtown, fair price, recommended. and: take a walk northeast along the douro which is deep down in the canyon, and wild. wonderful landscape, villages, and stones. and hardly any tourists...

From the beautiful accommodation to the warm welcome and friendly service, this little paradise checked all the boxes for us on our tour of northern Portugal. Breakfast was ordered from one day to the next and delivered to our accommodation the next morning at a time of our choosing. All safety precautions appeared to be observed. There was a pool with plenty of sunbeds and shades, and areas to sit outside each of the converted farm buildings. The location was stunning, the peace and serenity hard to match. I would highly recommend the wine-tasting experiences offered. The cheeses and conserves produced on the farm were also of exceptional quality. Worthy of five stars in every category.

Very good hotel in an historical city
Reviewed By AlbertSalichsThe rate quality/price is very good. It is. located in the surroundings of Bragança, an important place in the history of the independence of Portugal. The room is very comfortable for 3 persons: it is big and it has all you need to stay some nights. The bathroom is very nice. Also in the price is included the breakfast, a buffet, which is very good. The room has a little terrace. On the other hand, the hotel is far from the center and it is a bit old.

Unbelievable find
Reviewed By graemen01Wow! From the moment we arrived here we couldn't believe our luck at finding such a beautiful place. The Owner arrived within a few minutes to greet us and check us in to our beautiful king suite with a view over the pool and neighbouring countryside covered in almond trees. This property is only a couple of seasons old and is still a work in progress by its fastidious and dedicated owners. Dont let that put you off though because its mightily impressive as it is. The owner prepared an interesting a d scenic local cycle ride route map for us, provided cycles and a recommendation for cold drinks on the way home. She also produced a beautiful cold meat cheese and bread plate for us to eat when we returned with our own bottle of local red. This included a delicious home made cherry preserve. The room is spacious, great aircon lavish towels and all you need including an outdoor terrace and pool towels if you want them. We did and the pool is fabulous. Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive with great coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon cold meats breads beautiful preserves and juices. This has been the highlight of our stays while travelling France Spain and Portugal over the past 3 weeks and we highly recommend it to anyone travelling through the area. Tariff is very reasonable for the splendid offering. There are plenty of restaurants in nearby Merindela (7km) should you consider eating out. A real winner. Thanks for everything.

Only hotel to consider in this small, scenic town
Reviewed By Tony MMogadouro is a pleasant, scenic town in the Tras-os-Montes area of Portugal. It's got a Templar castle and further out, some prehistoric cave art that is very much worth seeing. This hotel is a good base of operations - clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. The guy at reception even drove us to dinner in a nearby village as a favour. The room was cleaned almost the moment we left it and we slept very soundly.
