Reviewed By davekY199KMFollowing a section of a review review that I have read today regarding sun beds around the pool I felt I had to say something as what they have said is very misleading. There are plenty of normal sun lounges around the pool me and my girlfriend stayed for a week and never had an issue. The beds in question that come with with a charge and offer drinks packages are not your average sun lounger. One set of beds by the pool are four poster beds with curtains on the sides and roof for shade and privacy if need be. The second set of beds is on a private decking areas raised around the pool and featured a retractable sun roof for shade abs your own umbrella. (Both of these beds where extremely comfortable) I also might add that a set of 6 of these beds where on the roof sitting right next to the infinity pool that boasts incredible views. The beds where fort euro for the whole day and then more of you wanted drinks on top and that’s between two people. If a hotel doesn’t charge for beds like these then you would never get the opportunity to experience this type of comfort and privacy around a hotel pool. The room was great, spacious and was kept very clean however one day on returning to the room the cleaner had not shut the door properly when she had left, so my room had not been locked all day which I was not happy about. There was an issue with the electricity in my room - the maintenance man had to come twice in one day to sort this out. Breakfast was ok, lots of choice but quality wasn’t great. The restaurant was crowded and hard to get a table at times. Same with the pool - people putting towels down early despite being told not to which made it hard to get a sun bed so we went to the beach instead. Overall I would visit again but not in peak season.

Reviewed By anthonydL66GMBeautiful hotel in a great location right next to the sea and a short walk to the restaurants and bars. Transfer from hotel is about 30 minutes. During the day you can decide on being next to the pool or on the beach which is just seconds away! We stayed half board plus (which included drinks with dinner) food was very good with lots of options. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Good for couples and families but if you fancy a night out Magaluf was only a 15 minute walk away! We did cave trip which I recommend and a day in Palma ( about 30 minutes on bus, about 4 euro return)

The food was nice with always a choice of meat, fish, pasta and salads but Im not a fussy eater. It has a wonderful view from the bar and is just a 3-4 min walk to the beach.

Mixture of young adults, young children and grandparents (party of 10) Great staff Lovely and clean, daily fresh towels, room cleaned Great food selection (but Aluasun you need strawberries as part of fresh fruit and mixed peppers bowl on salad cart :-) ) AMAZING reception team Fab kids club.....Sally you Rock!!! The new inflatable water slide on a Thursday is Epic!!!! Well done Sally ❤ The killer hill is still not good for older ppl thats a definate, but is doable. I'd say the only couple of gripes now is, the no self serve for slushes & soft drinks in outside bar area and drink limit The fact the 6 alcohol drink per person rule now applies, which is causing queues at bars as ppl are paying for the drinks, so could imagine quite a issue in peak season Overall another fab stay and no doubt we'll be back again

Reviewed By tarawT2375QNWe have just returned from a weeks holiday & we where pleasantly surprised how good it was after reading some of the recent reviews. The sun bed situation was a joke I have to admit, you did have to get up at 6am to get a sun bed but it got to the point where people just threw them off anyway. The day we left 9/6 they had just had 100’s of brand new sun beds delivered so they are doing something about it. We had a solarium on the first floor which was great for the kids to play on and you also get two sun loungers so we didn’t experience any issues with the lifts. Food was ok, 3 star at its best, a few mystery dishes which is not my type of dining, no labels to even suggest what they where. Breakfast again was ok, typical Spanish breakfast but a good selection of fruit/pastries etc! If you want a nice breakfast i would suggest going before 9am, as after then most things where taken away and not replaced even though the breakfast didn’t finish until 10.15! The drinks are also fine and pleasant, theres no need to upgrade to the gold package and they don’t even try to sell it you anyway! The soft drinks where also very nice and actually tasted of something. The location is fantastic, right next to the beach, shopping, bars and only a 10/15 minute walk into Magaluf. Palma Nova is absolutely stunning & you will not be bored. We ate out most evenings as the restaurants around the hotel aren’t expensive and if you like your drinks, you will get your moneys worth just in drinks! The entertainment staff where brill and they put on a mini disco for the kids every evening and also a show afterwards for all of the family. My daughter also loved the kids pools I couldn’t get her out! To be honest I don’t know why people are pulling the hotel down, they maybe could just do with a few more staff and the small issues would be resolved such as ques for the bar, but they go down very quickly and the staff work hard! And no hand sanitiser as it was always empty! I have travelled on 5 star luxury cruise ships and stayed at 5 star luxury hotels and it isn’t a 5 star hotel so don’t book this hotel expecting the world. Its adequate for a family holiday, rooms are clean, small but they do the job! Overall we had a fantastic family break and the kids loved it so thats all that matters.

Reviewed By gailh532We have just left after a fantastic week here 10 in family from 6 to 84. My grandson Warren loved Diego Carmen and Jessica they were brilliant with him. Every member of staff were really friendly and always happy. Dorina and Raul special mention for them. Rooms were a decent size and although we looked out onto banana Joe's I wasn't kept awake I'm a good sleeper. ? the grounds are kept lovely well done to gardeners and maitenance. Food was the usual hotel food but we never went hungry but not a fussy eater. I hope we will be back in the future. The staff really maje this hotel

Worst hotel ever
Reviewed By Georgia PIn all honesty I don’t know how this hotel is 4 stars. It would have 2 max. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. The place as you walk in looks nice with a clean new atmosphere,as soon as you check in things then go downhill; the staff are ignorant; and as soon as they know your English you get treated terribly to what the French do being a French hotel. All the things listed on the hotel most are lies, having no free Wi-Fi, having to PAY €4 euros a day for a safe key that should come included being a 4 star hotel. No staff talk you through how any of the hotel works, the entertainment? The air con ? The food wise? Shall I go on? Nothing is explained at all. The room, okay size, a weird layout. Included we had 2 rubbish single beds put together that split every single time you sat on them, nothing holding them together, a double sofa bed what we just used for storing our bags, a tv which only come in Spanish or French no English! A wardrobe, a safe what we would have to pay for to use! And a nice size balcony that had the view of the garden/ pool area. The rooms are not very soundproof you can hear everything that’s happening in the room next door. At night time when we wanted to go bed you couldn’t because everyone’s being so loud watching the show that even with the doors All shut its still unbelievable loud. The room comes with 0 toiletries so best go shop. Food - do not get me wrong this probably gets a star alone, great and wide range of food being a large buffet so there’s a majority of options that are open to all ( yellow band breakfast) ( red all inclusive meals.) some food have labels saying what they are some don’t so you have to take a guess by the look? Which is very very dangerous for people with allergies ! Me myself I am vegetarian and have found this 50/50 while eating here. I have loved breakfast, I’ve tried lunch and dinner, both Meh options. I find it absolutely DISGUSTING how staff (chef) behind the food bar was standing laughing at me because I said sorry is it vegetarian? And they replied in French in which I didn’t understand so they stood there laughing at me! Absolutely disgusting. The swimming pool- pool looks fine. There’s a range of 3 pools, 2 outdoor, 1 indoor. A life guard is at 1 pool out the 3. Definitely not enough chairs/sun-loungers to go around! I find it personally ridiculous that all the pools shut at 6pm! Especially like a hot country that this is! Even if it was no children after certain hours as where adults are more responsible. I’ve not seen the pool be cleaned not once while being here for 10 days. Swimming classes with adults doing fitness, again no way of knowing what time or how you get anything to participating. Entertainment- wow?! I’ve not been at a hotel before with so much entertainment all just in FRENCH. Literally the same rubbish every single night from around 7pm-12am all of the French staff and French hotel guests all signing, dancing and shows. Like I’ve said, even if I wanted to try enjoy this your not welcomed as soon as they see you are English, dirty looks, not being told at all once when shows are on, not one translates or anything! Literally shows how you only cater for some people! I am all for learning about cultures, but at least bother and teach those who want to learn! Last year we stayed at a German hotel I would give 100 stars if I could. We thought why not stay at this French one, biggest mistake. Do not look at someone and judge them because where they are from. We have been looked at like dirt from everyone other than the English and Spanish here! Every English couple we have seen while we’ve been here have all said the same! The only staff I’ve seen be polite here is the SPANISH Housekeeping! Thank you to all those lovely polite ladies! They deserve a good pay and thanking. For actually making us welcome. My partner went to the outside bar and had the staff there treat him rubbishy, so people all inclusive were in-front and they was all smiles at and spoke to about what they wanted, my boyfriend? We obviously have yellow bands and they automatically look at and treat you like your poor, my boyfriend ordered what we wanted to drink and passed the note over, the change got literally chucked back at him over the bar. When I went to the bar the next night I asked for 2 bottles of water, the person give me 3, and when I said sorry I only ordered 2, looking in my hand and seeing I only had €5 as I got told it would be enough for 2, he looked at me and said no and got annoyed. I would 100% not recommend this hotel at all. To anyone and I will definitely not be coming back, the price I can’t complain too much for being just under £1000 for me and my partner for 10 nights, but everything else makes this place not worth it. If your French 100% this may be the place for you as it’s the only people wanted in this place. To the staff, please expand on respecting others, if you would like other religions and races and ethnicity work on your staff and hotel: do not just care about what money you get paid.

Reviewed By donna dI absolutely loved this hotel. Prime location with lots to do around the area . Went half board and was not disappointed. Plenty of choice . Room was fairly basic but cleaned every day and the view was spectacular overlooking the beach . Restaurant staff were particularly helpful and smiley, couldn't do enough to help. There was nothing not to like.
