After a lovely warm welcome from the gentleman I had high hopes for this place, but sadly the food just wasn’t up to the standard of the service. The chicken tasted very cheap and the sauces we had felt ‘lazy’. Neither sauce had any flavour unfortunately. Really disappointed.

We’ve done two visits to Port O’Call during our stay in Palmanova. Both has been very positive. The second time we had a three course dinner. Excellent shrimp tempura which combined well with the coriander dip. The lamb chops were six tender ones perfectly grilled. The last course, the caramell cheese cake with sea salt was a perfect ending. The service was attentive and personal.
To summarize: A full recommendation from me.

Sitting outside overlooking the beach and sea is wonderful and the food and service are good. But, in October you will need to wrap up against the cool wind as the Seating is all under the stars. Our meals were good but I was disappointed by the bearnaise sauce for the fillet steak which I was assured is freshly made by the chefs and not bought at the supermarket.

Due to an extortionate increase in rent, and removal of some table space by the landlords, the Welsh Mosquito has been forced to close after 19 years. So very sad. Such a great bar run by a lovely family and Tracey makes the best toasties on the Island!! We wish them all well for the future.

Visited on 16th October had starters mains of three different curries rice (huge ) and keema naan . All curries tasty and large portions . Try lamb pathia it melted and so spicy and tasty . Service was excellent the staff couldn't do enough . Complimentary poppadums and very tasty pickle tray especially the onion chutney . Definitely return next time we visit Palmanova .

What lovely food!
We stopped by for lunch after looking at TripAdvisor reviews and it was worth the visit. It was located right near our hotel so it was a bonus!
Staff were friendly, the food was served fresh, and every dish we ordered was tasty and just the right size.
We enjoyed the food and service so much we went back the next day for lunch again. The paella was a huge dish but worth the money.
The goulash was particularly tasty, as were the croquettes.
We would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great tapas dishes with lovely service.

Excellent food, Staff so friendly. Make you feel very welcome. Definitely need to visit. Seem to have a lot of returning customers. No hassle or rushing you. Loved the place.
