Really bad service at the restaurant
Reviewed By lorenzaa315If you have 3 hours to spare to eat what you didn’t order, than you found your spot! Waited an hour to be seated, 1.5 hours to be served, received the wrong order and had an extremely rude waitress who told us that if we didn’t like it - we could go elsewhere next time!

In the village of Zweisimmen in the Bernese Oberland is a small family hotel Sonnegg welcome. Train tour of Switzerland
Reviewed By Daniel NI spent a night at this hotel as part of my own train tour of Switzerland. It is about a 10 minute walk away from the station, and is away from the main village. It was quite dark when I arrived, but trust Google maps to get you there. The hotel owners were very friendly, and I was extremely grateful that they had prepared for me some sandwiches as I had to skip breakfast the following morning as I had an early train to catch. The room itself was comfortable, and it left me rested for the next day's travelling.

Reviewed By RukwindWe had a delicious dinner on the terrace. The servant was very friendly and the ambiance relaxed. You can taste the pureness of the fields in the meat coming from local farms. When the sun went down we were offered a warm blanket do we could stay outside if we liked but we were also welcome to end our meal inside.

Reviewed By viennasilI can only review this place from a grouptraveller 's opinion! This is NOT a resort hotel, its a hostel at best! The rooms are very small, the bathrooms even smaller! We had booked half board, mistake! ! Breakfast consisted of thinly sliced fairly stale bread, fatty cold cuts, buckets of jam and yoghurt ( served youthcamp style )! Dinner was something like that, but served. Most food was prefab, not even cooked on premises. Only good thing I can say,the beds were good and rooms clean! The " hosts " were either unfriendly or unhappy! Not a place to spend a vacation! Our only blessing was that we were hardly there! !
