Anachronistic shipping artefacts adorn this place, hardly evoking the historic Peperboom ship it is named after. The tuna starter dish was listed to be served with (a.o.) wasabi. Other than some wasabi coloured cocktail nuts with little flavour. When I queried this the waitress went away to ask the cook but never came back with the answer.Otherwise the food was OK but not special. A tea cup was served with a major chip in the rim (see photo). Not good.

We visited this small brewery and all of us had different local brewed beers, and nobody was disappointed. It was a nice day, so we enjoyed the backyard outdoors seating. In case you have an hour or so to spare, a definite fun place to go. We did not have anything to eat there (just FYI).

Lovely place with very friendly staff and super fresh seafood. If only the size of the portions would justify the high prices.

My family and I stopped here for a quick lunch. It was a busy summer day so we weren't sure what to expect. Well, WOW. The food was absolutely amazing. I had amazing cheese croquettes and my brother and father had a smoked salmon sandwich. They both said it was the best smoked salmon they had ever had. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed every second of our dining experience at Gasterij Rubens! The view is outstanding and the food was incredible! We recommend the Ruben's Steak and Anouk's Springrolls. The waitress was detail oriented and very helpful. We look forward to our next visit and try out the boat picnic package.

Went for a Saturday evening dinner to this restaurant. It is situated outside the center of a small town. The ambiance is kind of special. It is a church, but not a very old one. The entrance brings you at the back of the restaurant. The bar and kitchen are in the back thus you have to walk through the restaurant to announce yourself for reservation. This is the nature of the building and once we were seated we saw the hostess walk over to the entrance when guests came in. The place is nicely decorated tables and benches downstairs and a big table (for a group) at a higher (only stairs) location. Ground floor is accessible for wheelchairs. At the side of the kitchen there is a high-chair seating area with newspapers. You can catch a drink or bite there. The menu is presented in a courier-style tabloid with a small introduction on the establishment. All courses are described in large detail with a wine/beer (they have a great beer menu) suggestion. Choice (in particular the starters) is extensive. Choice in menu's are a welcome diversion of the standard choices. Very nice combinations and all the dishes looked great. we ordered a smoked fish plate and a melted goat cheese as a starter. Mains were the lamb stew and white-fish. Accompanied with skin-on fries and very good mayonnaise. Dessert was the sabayon and a mascarpone twist. All in all very tasty food, portion size is decent enough. Service is done by very, very young personnel. But how great it was. Everything was almost spot on. We would encourage this owner of continuing delivering great food and awesome service. A place not to miss when going visiting the direct area of Kamperland!

De Werf, the runner-up winner of the Misset Horeca Terrace Top 100 in the Netherlands. You can enjoy afforable luxury (with local & pure products) during lunch & diner with the best view of the harbor and the authentic city of Veere.
Very good restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Price-quality. Maybe they could serve the mussel croquettes a bit nicer, on a plate and with cutlery. Normally it's a tapa and you can also get it as a starter but they serve it to eat with your fingers or toothpicks. The wine is expensive, over 30 euros a bottle.

Beleef het eten van tarbot, schaal- en schelpdieren op ultieme wijze bij Seafarm - bijna met je voeten in het water van de Oosterschelde.
Good place for seafood, yet a bit pricey but worth it. Try their daily specials! The old industrial Harbour caters for an unique venue.
This is a nice bar and restaurant situated on the big square in the centre of Goes. Nice affordable dishes of the Dutch cuisine. The homemade applepie is a big recommendation. Besides the good food, there is also a wide range of Dutch and Belgium beers an
