During our weekend in Zeeland, we (6 friends) wanted to do some fun activities together. At movement Sports the staff was already waiting for us with their archery tag equipment. After an exciting round of playing army, it was time to take on the Blob....MoreThanks alot for the recommendation and hopefully we will see you in 2017 for that kitesurfing class :)

This is a lovely old building that was described by our guide as one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. I can agree with that as it is well worth a 'Look See'

Our first stop after leaving the cruise ship was the village of Veere. This had once been an important port especially for wool brought in from Scotland. There were merchants' and guild houses. We had tea and waffles at Bliek Eten & Drinken. It was in a pleasant spot where you could sit outside. Waffles were ok, so I don't know why it has a low TA rating.

There are two windmills in Wissenkerke. Both can be seen from the highway. You want to actually drive into the town to visit the one that sells fresh eggs, meal, and other assorted items. Follow the signs to city center which are very easy to do. The owner welcomes pictures and let's you go inside the windmill. It's kind of exciting for kids of all ages to see a glimpse of how people used to live. While busting the town there's a great restaurant around the corner in the city center called de Kroon. Great area for bicycling too! .

The past two weeks my wife and I visited Kanoa several times. Each time we rented a kayak to discover the Veerse Meer. It is a great place to be. The people at Kanoa are very friendly and helpful. You can eat French Fries and small snacks and enjoy a beverage. We had French fries and they were very good.
It is important to check the weather beforehand. Wind makes it more difficult to navigate on the Veerse Meer with a kayak. 4 or 5 Beaufort makes it a wobbeling experience.

The mill is beautifully restored and the wings of keep spinning over your head when sitting outside enjoying the very good pancakes.
Children can play at the small playground while waiting for their meal.
I definitely missed more historic information about the building and its use. I could not even find this in Dutch on site.
The staff was extremely busy and we had to wait a lot (too long) for both ordering and paying.
All in all we had a good meal in nice surroundings, but with more information about the building we would not have left with the feeling of this place being more a tourist trap than a place of historical interest.

Nice to go there with family. Bought tickets online with discount but still pretty expensive, this went smoothly. Could be easier to import it into your Apple wallet. Parking 7 euro think that's over the top. The food offering is oke but very unprofessional and to expensive for what you get. Service level is very poor. So we paid to be here for 2 adults and 4 kids including a Sandwich, drink and parking 150 euro. Families with kids be aware before you go to this place

We have been here a couple of times already, but never when the weather was this good. There is a major difference in beach size on high or low tide, so its excellent for builing sand Castles. In summertime there are a lot of beach guards, who keep an eye out for you..
Even in high season, you can still find a spot on the beach, its big enough for everyone.
We always park on a big parking space near albert heijn, a dutch supermarket, they charge 8,50 euro for a full day.
