Modern clean hotel...appalling service
Reviewed By NikB605On checking in for 3 days I paid for my room cash up front and was shown my room. A few hours later received a text to say the room I was given was more expensive and I could either pay the difference or leave. After an argument I opted to pay the diff. but despite all the credit card signs on the counter the receptionist could not accept my card as she did not know how to operate the machine. I could not connect to the internet and was told if I looked on my key tag the password was there. However they soon discovered they had put the wrong password on my key. That night I found the new bedside lamp did not work, nor could I open the safe which was locked. The website stated tea and coffee were provided in the room, there was none, it also mentioned a bed cover or duvet, yet my bed had a single thin sheet. the bar fridge had a list of drink prices taped to the door, but was empty. The glass window was smashed and the broken glass held together with sticky tape (Picture provided !) On leaving I was told I did not need to pay the difference on the room !!

Reviewed By ErikHK28I must say we didn't stay over in the rooms. But we visited the place and eat at the restaurant. The place is very nice with lots of shadow and romantic lighting at night. The style is Spanish style. Surely on our next trip we gonna stay over at this hotel. The restaurant is great. With many dishes also accomodating foreigner tastes. I enjoyed a nice steak which was 2 years ago since I live in the province. The hotel is right at the beautiful beach of Subic Bay. During our visit it was not busy. So highly recommended. We didn't see a pool.

Reviewed By NikB605The restaurant and bar is situated on the first floor with an excellent sea view. The menu was excellent and the food delicious . A very good selection of foreign food. They have a small bakery which makes the most delicious bread along with a variety of pies. I bought both to take home to Manila. Out of all the restaurants I have sampled in Barrio Barreto this is the best with selection of food, price and quality.

Quaint Hotel with nice white sand beach front
Reviewed By ErikHK28This is a nice hotel right at Subic Barangay beach. Nice white sand. There is a pool. It is a nice 3-4 star place and definitely a place on my regular shortlist. Rooms are ok size although not very big. The bathroom we stayed was a bit outdated with an old style bath. Which nobody uses anymore. Many choices of bars and restaurant close by. Relaxing.

Reviewed By mikek891Worst place we’ve stayed in Philippines after over 30 different hotels & apartments. Outdated appliances. Broken promises. Rice cooker about to start a fire. Internet down 30% of the time. Owner’s wife said I complained too much after 4 days and said if you don’t like it leave. Once I started leaving she and her husband start yelling at me and grabbed my stuff. The owner made a punch fist about to hit me so I asked for the police and took them to the police station. Police sided with us and we heard many complaints and similar problems from tenants. Stay away at all costs!!!!!!!! Horrible, humiliating and traumatic experience. Never in my life have I dealt with such a closed minded and aggressive couple. If I can give -99999999 score I would. That’s my warning to you. There are better places across the street and along Balloy street. - Mike

Reviewed By 44WestSideWe did not stay at the hotel but tried to have dinner in their restaurant. The food was OK but the service couldn't have been worse. 45 minutes to just get drinks and a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. Until they find their way I would avoid.

We traveled on Independence Day. We enjoyed the stay because of the beach.
Reviewed By pythoniaAt the photos there was a stove but I forgot to confirm if we can cook food, so it was disappointing when we arrived it's not working or not allowed. Other than that, I slept of the floor with the sofa mattress because the five of us didn't fit on the king sized bed. When we stayed they're refurbishing/construction so they're only two groups of guests.

Reviewed By Louie Lpositive side - 1 hotel staff was very accomodating. 2 rooms - you get what you pay for. 3 parking space is nice and safe. 4 the bed is very nice. 5 airconditioning is quiet and very cool. 6 cable, remote control, wifi are terrifically maintained. 7 shower and heater are also maintained properly negative side - lack of table and cabinet for personal belongings and clothes. blanket is quite thin. so bring an extra one if you can.

Reviewed By Cha OFilthy bathroom, unsanitized room. Dont waste your money book somewhere else. Poor customer service. Terrible staffs. Arrived there at 12pm and checked in @ 4pm due to insufficient staffs. Sucks big time! Horrible experience! Never ever will I go back to this hotel.
