Reviewed By Artehair2014We enjoyed duplex aptm. 121 with private free carpark in front of the door. a very friendly, welcome by Inma, check in was swift and pleasant. The aptm. is very large, has excellent furniture, fittings , colour scheme, all in all very positive. very quiet area, so a good nights sleep guaranteed . A short drive to discover the rest of the area. Kitchen is well equipped and the whole aptm was very clean. Can strongly recommend . We left early morning on our way to a birding field meeting, so we just had to pop the door key-cards in the letterbox provided at the reception. We will book again !

Although they had only been serving cold foods breakfast, as they are off season, they were able to accommodate our special diet requirements very generously. Many thanks Alejandra!

Lovely hotel but bedroom lighting an issue for me

The public areas and pool are light and spacious and we had a lovely large, modern room with a very confortable bed and great bathroom. However there was a green light above the bedroom door ( apparently emergency lighting) we had a lobby between this door and the bedroom but the light shining through the glass panelled door meant that the bedroom was slightly illuminated all night, as I like a dark room I found it difficult to sleep. I did ask at reception and understood that all rooms have the same lighting. Parking is expensive at €15 per day ... park in the beach car park instead for €2 A shame as apart from the bedroom light problem we liked the hotel and breakfast was good.

Reviewed By Bridget000Perfect location in the town - just a short stroll to the beach and the little shops and restaurants. Very friendly Spanish girls running the hostel - from the town, so they know where is best to eat and go out. Also very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas.

This elegant villa is placed on a cliff above the “Playa de los Alemanes” in the residential quarters of Atlanterra on the magnificent “Costa de la Luz”. A three minute walk to the beach, has a pool, solarium, interior patios, gymnasium, free Wi-Fi conection and views from every corner of the property of the beach below, the Atlantic Ocean, the Straight of Gibraltar, the Rif mountains range and the city of Tangier in Africa.Villa Mathesis was built and equipped with every detail in mind. Minimalistic, comfortable and elegant. Modern classic architecture. The property offers three guests rooms with air-conditioning, private bathroom and a terrace with views over the ocean.Breakfast is served between 9 and 11 daily. A buffet of home made yogurts, actimel, breads and jams with fresh fruit and juices is placed in the kitchen and can be enjoyed in the dinning room or solarium while enjoying the views. Villa Mathesis is 4 kilometers away from Zahara de los Atunes, and 24km from Vejer de la Frontera. The city of Cadiz is a 60-minute drive away. Seville and Marbella are at a 90-minute drive. One must consider the Ferry ride across to Tangier from the port of Tarifa that is 40 km away.
Very disapointing visit - Very basis in every way.
Reviewed By Leesee123The accommodation really didn't live up to expectations. The view is awesome but the rooms are very basic with no service at all. The public areas are closed most of the time and there is no access to drinks you don't bring yourself. It is a long way to any shops or restaurant and the beach is too far to walk. Driving in and out of the garage is very dangerous. The price is 5 star but everything except the view 2 star at best. You cant even drink the water. Much better places to stay locally that represent better value. Expected a wonderful experience and left feeling misled and mis sold, Would never return.

Estafa! Ojo Estafa!
Reviewed By MponruiSon el establecimiento más sinvergüenza de zahara. Tened cuidado. Son profesionales estafando. No merece la pena, hay muchos sitios para estar intranquilos. Es la segunda vez que se aprovechan, en este caso por una cancelación sin querer a través de booking. Les avisamos al minuto, como pueden comprobar en la foto y nos dijeron que ya estaba ocupada. Minutos eh!! Era mentira, obviamente buscan como sacar dinero, no somos los primeros que tenemos problemas de este tipo con ellos. Es una pena. Perdí 114 euros por un error, y viajaba sola con mi bebé, ni por eso se apiadaron.

Sucio, mal olor, trato inaceptable del dueño
Reviewed By 101danigMi opinión es en referencia al ático de la morada. La entrada fue decepcionante al ver la cantidad de suciedad en el suelo, vajilla y bandeja de horno. A esto le sumamos que las toallas estaban manchadas con restos de maquillaje y llamamos a la limpiadora, su respuesta fue que es culpa de la tintorería que ella no tiene nada que ver. Posteriormente vimos el baño lleno de churretones, ya directamente llamamos al dueño y su respuesta, la cual nos dejó a cuadros, fue que si tan importante era eso para nosotros, que era culpa de la cal. Usted verá, en época de COVID lo más importante para mi es la limpieza y para usted también debería de serlo. En cuanto al jacuzzi nos dijo la limpiadora que nos lo podría encender cono piscina porque los chorros no funcionaban, cuando en el anuncio te lo ponen como que si. El olor a agua estancada del apartamento cada vez que se entraba es terrorífico. Además, el sofá tenía una manta encima para tapar una mancha que había en el sofá, respuesta literal de la limpiadora. La puerta de la entrada y del baño sonaban a mas no poder, ni el 3 en 1 arregla eso. El armario tiene dos agujeros en el techo por el que cualquier bicho puede entrar. En resumen, el apartamento está bajo mi punto de vista en condiciones de insalubridad, que es lo peorcito que te puede pasar. Ni volveré ni recomendaré.
