Found this place via TripAdvisor and glad we came. Understated location at the end of an alley (left hand side) off a main thoroughfare. Glass door frontage in small building complex in the back. Cosy atmosphere (we observed regular local expat following) and special with the limited available vegan restaurants. We followed the dish and drink recommendations by the counter staff and enjoyed the offerings. Orders are placed at the counter and generally is self-service. Wifi is available. Air conditioning too but a bit on the warm side. Still, a recommendation by us. Lunch total was $20 for two.

My mother came to visit us for a week in Yangon, and requested to eat here three times - including a final dinner before heading to the airport. The staff is incredible, the atmosphere very comfortable, the food delicious (don’t miss the salad with truffle dressing), and the GM very welcoming. What most impressed me, however, was the one time I ordered something that I didn’t like - the staff immediately replaced it and the chef came out after our meal to chat - they really are invested in making sure their guests have a great experience.

The most wonderful Japanese restaurant in Yangon. It is loved by Westerners and Asians. Shopkeepers who have been cooking for over 20 years in Japan are serving dishes. Delicious Japanese foods accepted by Japanese people can be eaten at reasonable prices

Great cosy Japanese restaurant with the best friendly service. Go sit upstairs for a more intimate dining experience. The staff are simply brilliant, they greet you with a smile and serve you quietly and efficiently.
