This is a small restaurant with a wonderful family at atmosphere. No menu - just look in the case and choose from the daily selection. The owners are extremely friendly and will make what you like and also suggest some things. Both the fish and the preparation was high quality and delicious. The local sake from Fuji was also good. I would recommend this restaurant and would go back again!

At Yamanashi surrounded by beautiful Mt. Fuji and nature, luxurious moment with delicious seafood and Japanese cuisine of "House of the sea" ... Our shop has 120 seats on the 1st floor,230 seats on the 2nd floor. Relax relaxingly in the spacious shop.

This place deserves much more review. I had wonderful time having lunch here. It was raining, we specifically wanted to go here. I highly suspect they were closed when we arrived but still allowed us in. Waitresses are lovely, friendly, smiling all the time. They english menu is not the bust but still usable. I had sushi set for 1200+tax, you can choose either udon or soba (hot/cold) and you will get 7 nigiri. It was more then enogh for me. The nigiri were really delicious. My friend had sushi mix: 12 nigiri and lqrger bowl of miso for 1500+tax. It was almost too much for him. Miso was also really good. For this prices, quality and surrounding I would say this place is a must. Loved it. Unassuming, quiet, but packed in an orderly manner with tourists. We found this at random, so it adds to the joy. Ambience is lovely, price is very reasonable for the quality of food, we are pleasantly surprised, highly recommend to all to come to this place!

Our tour guide took us to this restaurant. First of all, the sushi is fresh, good value for money. More importantly, the staff is extremely helpful. My son left behind something very important after eating. After he discovered it we went back to the restaurant to ask if the restaurant staff have seen it. My son wrapped the item in a tissue paper and left it on the table. We thought they would have thrown it away as trash. Surprisingly the kitchen cleaning staff was able to find it amongst the trash and gave it back to him. Their effort was really appreciated.
