A beautiful colonial house nestled in the town of Woodstock, hearty breakfast; floral backyard with stream running through;and it borders the Comeau (town's) property. There is easy access to the wonderful forested trails on the town's 72 wild acres. Overlook mountain trail and Tibet monastery right in town. It's just a few easy walk to shopping and the bus stop near the village green. Bearsville theater; Woodstock play house; Levon Helm studio; etc. music place all with a mile. Enjoy our comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast and then explore all Catskill mountain trails; Hudson valley region - the beauty of New York has to offer!
A great place for a overnight stay!
Reviewed By Debster528My boyfriend and I made a last minute decision to make an overnight trip. We decided on staying at this B&B and it was a good choice. Convenient to town, clean, and the owner (Ponsi) and her daughter (Diane) are wonderful hostesses. Breakfast was delicious and Diane sat with us and we chatted and learned that Ponsi is a musician and an artist .... and that the artwork throughout the house is her doing. Thank you both for a lovely stay! Debbie & Keith

Reviewed By F8785MVmichelekProperty is charming, rustic and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small but updated and very clean. Breakfast was continental with some extras like bagels and lox. Location is walking distance from town. Would stay again.

Perfect weekend getaway

I arrived after hours on Friday night, and Darryl, the General Manager, kindly called to make sure I had received the emailed check-in instructions. When I told him I was just pulling in, he stayed to show me around and was an attentive host all weekend. My 2nd floor East King Room was beautiful and comfortable. I loved the modern but warm decor and appreciated the thoughtful touches like a tray to dry boots, a separate vanity with flattering mirror, heated light in the bathroom, and everything needed to make S'mores. The room rate was great value! I enjoyed takeout from the adjacent Santa Fe restaurant and nearby Phoenicia Diner, the hotel fire pits, and loved skiing at Belleayre on Saturday and Sunday. Couldn't be happier with my stay!

Reviewed By for-the-journeyOne cannot argue that Woodstock Way is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are decorated to soothe the soul and the surrounding grounds are spectacular. One does pay a premium price to stay in such beautiful surroundings however the problem is that the managment and staff fall very short of the quality of the physical environment. The downside of our stays have been a consistent sense that the place should be renamed “Management’s Way or Woodstock Our Way”. There is a consistent sense that guests at Woodstock Way are merely intruders that will most likely do something wrong, break a rule or try to get away with something. It feels like the opposite of hospitality - like there is a mistrust and some very forced polite, insincere conversation, but a general sense that guests are an inconvenience that must be tolerated. We find ourselves wishing that management’s style more closely reflected the serenity of the physical spaces. They just consistently miss the mark. We switched to a wonderful rented cottage, got a 5 star rating as guests and thoroughly enjoyed Woodstock OUR Way during our last stay, which also cost mush less, just up the street from Woodstock THEIR Way.
