Went to the front desk multiple time maintenance never came have photographs to prove the situation.. totally did not expect this from a Hampton maybe I need to rethink my membership. Hilton get it together.

Reviewed By Edward CThe outside of the hotel is deceiving because it definitely needs touching up. But once inside, you'll be relieved that it's taken care of and in good condition. Nothing fancy or special, but definitely enough. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

Reviewed By abuckl653489Place was extremely run down. Even the lamps had rust in it. Outlets in the room didn’t work. The ceiling was falling apart and made me wonder if it would fall on me in my sleep. It was nothing like it was advertised. It was disgusting. I wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anyone unless you were so desperate for a place to sleep because there was nothing else. But even then I still wouldn’t recommend the place almost better off at a camp ground or your car even.

Solid home away from home
Reviewed By stazandgazerThis hotel was recommended by a birder friend who visited nearby High Island hotspots. We were glad to have reserved a king suite with a kitchenette and a sofa bed about twice a size of a regular hotel room. The beds were really comfotable and the room very clean. The front desk was available by bell service only but every time we needed something the hotel staff was ready to assist. During our stay there was no breakfast service which was fine by us. Although the hotel appears to be a bit rundown it was quietly tugged away off the main road.

Our only negative was very slight odor in room, but we travel with pet so are often in a "pet friendly" room. But a caution: there are no food dining options on Sunday night in Winnie, so Pizza hut it was. Quite adequate, but short on veggies.

Motel 6 Winnie is conveniently located off of I-10 E. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance, as well as a Chinese restaurant on the property, there are also more restaurants, bars, and shopping places available within a 1 mile radius. Ford Park and the Chambers County Golf Course are within 17 miles. All rooms include microwaves & fridges, also free high-speed Wi-Fi. Truck parking is available in a safe well lit parking area that can be viewed from majority of the rooms.
Much Better than the Price Suggests
Reviewed By kirstenpixI booked this Motel 6 for three nights while I chased birds in High Island. I was on a budget and had a bunch of Expedia $ so with their very low rates I paid very little for the room. I had very low expectations, but it was really good. Pretty clean, mostly quiet, very spacious. I was comfortable. They even serviced the room every day! (no one does that since Covid). Don't expect posh toiletries or towels but they do the job. My only critiques would be the room could use some kind of dresser and the microwave really didn't work (took so so so very long to heat things).

A bit of road noise but one night stay is ok
Reviewed By NF2013_13We were RVing from FL to TX and stopped in Winnie, just over the TX border. It was right off the highway, but we were only staying one night. They have several nice, level, concrete pads for RV's, full hookups behind the Inn. The owner was very nice and helpful at check-in. We were given Site B28 and it was great for one night. You will hear some noise but it quiets down enough to where it did not disturb our sleep. You must be a fully contained RV as there are no additional restrooms/showers available to you. The grounds were clean, safe and just a few others staying there. We were up early and on our way again.
