Reviewed By Johnny_FatalWhen we saw it from the road I was a little confused since I traveled here after an 11 hour drive. Once we pulled in it looked a lot nicer than from the side. Opening the doors with the locks, which I prefer over keys, I opened the door to a luxurious clean room. There was plenty of space to rapidly take off my clothes and get some sleep. Waking of the next morning I was surprised by the well put together bathroom that did not only have enough space, but a deep long tub where I even considered taking a bath. If I ever come back through these parts again, I will definitely come back to this motel.

They really stepped up to assist the community of Williston during one of the worst storms, when 70k people lost power for days, which is still ongoing. #1 Gemma the manager at this hotel, is beyond thoughtful, helpful, kind hearted and is a true asset to this hotel and is the definition of hospitality. #2 Herself and the staff have gone above and beyond for us all staying at the hotel during such a difficult time, even cooking us hot meals on the BBQ grill outside in the cold when the power was out so we all could get something to hit eat when everything was closed. #3 All the staff at this hotel have shown us the meaning of community and kindness, unfortunately most of the other hotels in Williston set out to gouge us all in an emergency situation. #4 the hotel is very clean and the hot breakfast has been great with lots of different options for the whole family. Thank you to all the staff at Microtel

A Rare and Wonderful Experience
Reviewed By Sightseer02085685035This is a pleasure to write. While traveling across country on motorcycles we accidentally stopped into a Harley dealership on a Sunday that looked closed. Needed to find a room for the night and pulled around back to turnaround. Low and behold they were having a riders class. We walked in and checked it out. They were actually closed but were so nice to us as we were traveling. Gave us recommendations on lodging and restaurants. We took the advice from the locals and so glad we did. Here’s the great story, call Best Western Plus and spoke with Jazmine about a room for 3 for the night. She had 2 queens and a rollaway available. The price she quoted didn’t match the website on google but was still a good deal and we booked it. Checked in within 15 minutes and Jazmine was amazing. She is the benchmark for how quest relationship should be. Pleasant, accommodating and just an all around good person. Hey Best Western, do what you need to do to keep and promote this lady! And, this hotel is super nice, clean, modern with no complaints. Thanks to Black Magic Harley for the tip and to Jazmine for the excellent service.

Reviewed By rmontg300972Upon booking this room you’ll think it looks great for yourself and family to stay. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. This is not a family friendly hotel. This is a place for greasy, dirty, loud, oil-fielders to lay their heads for a few weeks. You can tell many oil-fielders have done so and trashed the place. The dumpster area that is wide open for you to see, shares exactly what to expect when you get into your room. Sue, was an amazing manager to see we were reconciled for the counter top leg falling on our child. The front desk lady was just as apologetic. The bed sizes advertised are not correct, also. It is definitely not a queen and a double; it’s a double and a twin/single. I hope I help to deter you from here and to seek out a better place for your family.

Reviewed By TedinTakpkThere's nothing at all that's exceptional here, and the property seems to be looking at every possible way to cut corners. The breakfasts are right out of the book (or a jar), with nothing at all that's remarkable. The rooms and the beds, etc., are just OK. And some genius at the property some weeks or months ago had the bathtubs layered with some sort of spray- or spead-on goo meant to harden and help keep guests from slipping. Good idea, but the application has cracked badly. We wouldn't take a shower in such a tub, despite any good work by the housekeeping staff. These cracks are invitations to bacteria. So we went shower-free. What's worse is that they keep renting these rooms with cracky-tubs (there are more than one, the front desk told us) that have been that way for some time. That's not up to IHG standards, I would think. PS to IHG folks who might read this. Re the questions below, do you really expect guests to know the staff's stay-at-home policies, hand-washing drills, and the language skills (other than in English) of folks on the staff? Write questions about matters that guests see and know about.

Terrible Customer Service !
Reviewed By M3576JDjsHad a mixup on my reservation, king room was not available upon arrival (despite having booked/pre-paid a month prior); asked to cancel but was told it was too late to get refund. Rich Rowell, General Manager, was unhelpful, unapologetic, and insisted there was never any assurance I would get a king room. Ultimately I was able to at least get a refund, and stayed at another hotel (in a king room). I will never stay here again - nor will any of my 220 employees when they’re in Williston on business.

Free laundry!
Reviewed By RandyW440This hotel caters to extended stay folks. We were there only one night but had been traveling for a week. I was excited to find that the laundry was free, and that they also had a laundry basket in each room and multiple machines in the laundry room so I could do multiple loads at the same time! I suggest the hotel add a small dining table to the common area for a place to play games with other guests. No free breakfast, only free hot beverages.
