This place is tucked away from the center of the pedestrian area, but is well worth the detour.Probably as close to fine dining as you will get in Lugo.We were offered a small delicious vegetable soup as an appetizer, followed by scallops. Excellent. I then had slices of cochinillo. Delicious. My friends had the filet steak with pan seared foie gras and a pan fried fresh cod both excellent.Great 2007 rioja. Impeccable service, nice atmosphere.

Called in here for a glass of wine one night & decided to come back the following night . You can stand near the entrance if you just want to pop in for a drink or two , or there are tables & chairs at the back if you have something to eat . The second night we had a board of 4-5 different cuts of cold meat , together with 4-5 different cheeses , a large amount of chunky bread , washed down with a bottle of Rioja & water . Very busy & popular with the locals . Enjoyable way to have some old favourite meat/cheeses & also try some new ones . Highly recommended.

Por recomendación de unos familiares acudimos a comer a este restaurante en pleno centro de Lugo. Dadas las fechas acudimos con reserva y para empezar tardaron bastante en asignarnos una mesa cuando aún estaba medio local vacio.Empezamos por unas croquetas de cocido que estaban muy buenas la verdad para continuar por unos calamares que sinceramente no eran nada de otro mundo. Continuamos con un pulpo que también estaba súper bueno en su punto y muy blandito para terminar la comida con u raxo que era normalito. Las cantidades son bastante normalitas y unas personas que sean de buen comer van a pasar hambre, a no ser que pidan más raciones. De postre nos decantamos por un arroz con leche que también estaba bueno.El personal bastante despistado pues no sabÃan ni lo que habÃamos encargado y en una de las ocasiones hasta nos traÃan repetido uno de los platos que ya habÃamos pedido de primero. Quiero comentar también que la mesa que nos asignaron estaba defectuosa y se inclinaba demasiado para uno de los lados por lo que no habÃa una buena estabilidad en ella y tras comentarselo a la propietaria nos dijo que la mesa no se iba a romper y que no estaba defectuosa.......pero la mesa seguÃa inclinándose para un lado hasta que opté por el remedio casero que poner en el hueco de la mesa que estaba inestable un utensilio para que la estabilizarse.En resumen: la comida normal a pesar de estar muy buenas las croquetas y el pulpo, el local bonito pero muy pequeño y todo bastante desordenado la verdad y el personal deja bastante que desear sobre todo la propietaria.
