Had the traditional baht mi pork sandwich with cilantro and an avocado smoothie with tapioca pearls. The ingredients were all fresh and looking at other dishes around me, this is obviously a popular local opportunity to sample well prepared Vietnamese cooking.

I ate at this restaurant once, on a night that was not busy. I ordered the cube beefsteak, marinated in garlic and stir-fried with onions. It was not medium rare as described on the menu. The beef was well done. If the menu says it will be served medium rare, then it should be. The beef was tender and tasty but too salty. The bed of lettuce was ice berg and the tomato slices were pale pink. It was a so so presentation. Service was fine. I appreciated the bottle of water brought to the table. I needed it to counter the saltiness of my order. I was not inspired to try dessert. I could have done without the disco music pounding in the background. The extensive menu is available on this restaurant's web site. Would I return? Maybe, but not likely.

I'm often at Pacific East Mall for a massage upstairs and I usually add on lunch or dinner at Pho Saigon II. I just love the pho here. I usually have the beef pho and it is always tasty. Add a Vietnamese iced coffee and you have a great meal. My wife likes the chicken pho. They are fast and very nice here.
