We were excited by Nutcharee's claim that the restaurant served authentic Thai food, i.e. Thai food like the food served in Thailand. The food was quite tasty but not similar at all to real Thai food. However, unlike the many very disappointing restaurants in Maui (or at least the Kihei area), the food was tasty so long as you put aside an expectation that it should really be like food in Thailand. Thus, with this weather major caveat, I recommend the restaurant and may even return for another meal.

The food is bland not authentic in anyway..I have been to this restaurant many times in the past and it isn't anything like it was. !.I found the waitress clueless .I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.I am sure there are better thai restaurants on the island...

Thai cuisine had been for many years our favorite Thai restaurant; we've found a couple of other on Maui we prefer. We decided to go to our old favorite, Thai Cuisine because of one dish in particular, mahi in spicy sauce.Everything is the same inside with the lacquered wood. We ordered Thai beers, but the waitress suggested a different beer 'from her country'. I finally realized it was a Lao beer. She then told us she and the rest of the staff, including owner/chef, are from Laos. If the food is good, I don't care where anybody's from.The food was not the same as we had always known. The mahi had a crispy panko-type crust instead of the lighter one we were used to, and the sauce just wasn't the same. The pork jungle prince had an 'off' flavor.For us it's Nutcharee's in Kihei or Sella Dang in Haiku when we want Thai in the future.

First brick and mortar from our award winning 5 star food truck in kihei . The same great menu as the truck and just more options added . We use fresh ingredients and do everything by hand . This is one of a kind dishes that will leave your tongue dancing

Came across this wonderful âAloha Thai Fusionâ restaurant while shopping at Safeway in same center. Great menu selections and the food is delicious with generous servings. Wonderful flavors and we prefer spicier food so asked for additional hot spice on side. One order provided enough for lunch and dinner for both my wife and me. There are umbrella tables in outside patio area. Been back several times over our two week stay in Kihei.
