We met some friends at Kratiem for dinner. It's their favorite place to have Thai food and I can see why! The prices are great and the food was tasty, prepared well and good sized portions. The atmosphere is good although a little tight. It is located on the main drag and is convenient for shopping and parking. Close to the theater / Symphony Hall. It is BYOB and very reasonably priced.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner before seeing a show at the Bergen PAC. It's a very short stroll (2-3 minutes) from the venue. We didn't need reservations and the restaurant was moderately busy. We began with the steamed vegetable dumplings. The plate consisted of 4 small dumplings with a side of garlic sauce. Tasty. Our entrees consisted of the vegetable Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodle with Shrimp. Both dishes came out fresh and hot. The portion size was acceptable. The Drunken Noodle had the perfect amount of heat and only 5 small shrimp. Didn't seem like enough shrimp for the size of the portion. Tasty. Service was good but a little lazy when we wanted to get our check. It's not a big restaurant so be prepared to sit close to someone. There are parking lots in the area and very limited on street parking. I would keep it in mind the next time I'm in the area.

Came here with friends. First Thai restaurant in Bergen County. Very nice atmosphere. A lot of seating too. We had Pad Thai. Very good but seemed a little oily. We also had the massaman curry which was flavorful and plentiful. It was really good. Friends had a beef in gravy dish that they loved. Slices of beef that were tender.The service was great. Four dishes with tax and tip was $80. Tip: Parking is street parking with meters. Tip: takes reservations.

Great for lunch.. their pho is quite good.. but the pho at Pho Bac in queens is the best IMO still this place could satisfy a craving...
