So we like Asian food.... Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean AND THAI. So we took a chance on the Thai Cottage. It all went well... though I think many would like see a menu that uses both common anglicized Thai names and as well as the descriptive English names for the dishes.Our meal started with a truly amiable waiter, who was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful... he helped me get the chef to turn what they call "Drunken Noodle" into Pad Kee Mao with calamari. The Pad Kee Mao was tasty and flavorful, and I'd have given the Thai Cottage a 5-star rating, but couldn't because they don't seem to use FRESH Thai birds eye peppers in their cooking.Bottom line. I would go back, and I'd eat Pad Kee Mao again because it's simply better than other Thai restaurants in the area.

My wife, baby, and I had great thai food but the people made the night. I'd recommend 100%. It's hard to find authentic thai food in the states but they have it. Cheers

I've looked at the other reviews for this restaurant and I have to wonder what the reviewers consider great Thai food. I have been to Thailand many, many times so I know what authentic Thai food is. I was quite disappointed with this restaurant. I was expecting more. For one thing, it seems to be right in the middle of the Asian section of town so you would expect it to be very authentic. Well, authentic, I guess you could say it was, just not good authentic. I had the Pad Thai, which is always my favorite. The noodles were overcooked and the peanut sauce was rather tasteless. We also had the Satay appetizer, which also comes with a peanut sauce. The sauce didn't have the normal dark color and was rather thin and tasteless. My son had the Tom Ka Gai, which he said was very good, but he has never been to Thailand and does not like spicy food so he asked to have it come as mild as could be. I question his judgement. In addition, the restaurant is somewhat of a hole in the wall. It was clean and the service was quick and friendly. I just wasn't impressed with the food.
