Swampscott is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States located 15 miles (24 km) up the coast from Boston in an area known as the North Shore. The population was 13,787 as of 2010. A former summer resort on Massachusetts Bay, Swampscott is today a fairly affluent residential community and includes the village of Beach Bluff, as well as part of the neighborhood of Clifton. It is known for its quiet suburban character and lovely beaches. The town was home to the scenic ocean front college, Marian Court College until 2015.

We use Gourmet Garden often for sushi takeout and it always was good. This time we decide to order Chinese. Big mistake. Started with the fact that all sugar free and diet choices were unavailable. Then when ordering by phone we ask if chicken and broccoli done with brown sauce and we were told that it was, but when we got dish it was with white sauce. âHot and Sourâ soup was actually âHot and Sweetâ and most of the dishes were extremely sweet. Dumpling were cold and tasted like they were cooked hours ago. The only positive was the way broccoli was cooked. We end up throwing away half of our order and I do not see us going back for Chinese any time soon.

We had the best time here. The chicken pho was honestly the best I've ever had- it was a huge portion too! We had 4 different sushi rolls, all of which were amazing and unique! The atmosphere was lovely, quiet and clean! The staff was so very polite and kind. We can't wait to go back!

Great sushi, unique selection that made me try new things! Best oysters, we had never tried them and holy wow this is the place to do it! $1 oysters from 5-6pm on weekdays, try them!!! Our waiter, Chase, was exceptional! Above and beyond to give us his recommendations and share his knowledge not just of the restaurant but the city as well! Great drinks too, you couldnât go wrong with trying any of it! Amazing fun atmosphere too! It is a must if you come visit Salem!jtisdale18,Your 5-star review qualifies you as a Grade-A rockstar!
