The old cook stand behind the counter , making different sushis which are ordered . Sea food on rice is fresh and wasabi , green mustard, is added, all you need to do is adding some soy sauce. There are some set meals each concludes eight or ten sushis . Make your choice.

First night in Abashiri, we came to this place which we saw on various Japanese food sites. Hokkaido towns have their local Gotochi gurume ("local gourmet") utilizes locally-produced ingredients and original cooking styles to create flavors that can only be enjoyed at the town or region of origin.Decided to give the traditional Abashiri Moyoro Nabe which is the traditional local Abashiri hotpot , and it was an excellent choice. The seafood in the hotpot was very fresh and the setting and service in the restaurant is TOP notch and they have an English menu for foreigners.My family went in a party of 5, and we ordered a main set each. Some of us ordered the full course âThubakiâ meal , and the presentation and taste was fantastic. There was a wide variety of small dishes in the set, and the serving really feeds one in the cold weather.Highly recommended

A sushi restaurant with old-world charm. Choose to dine at the counter, sitting on over-stuffed leather chairs, or dine in the tatami rooms. Great sashimi and sushi. Friendly and attentive staff. No English spoken.

I came here 3 times and the cuts kept getting bigger. The owner has an app to translate and it makes you feel right at home. And every Japanese person I say next to was willing to try and figure out a conversation. After telling the owner that sushi is my favorite food, he gave me the biggest cuts of salmon I could ever imagine. My entire mouth was full from one nigiri and it was delicious. Please go here and experience the magic

Was in Abashiri for my birthday and looked for a good sushi restaurant. Kiyomasa had some good reviews so went and looked for myself. It was fairly late (about a hour before closing) so was the only parton as the sushi bar. This is by far the best sushi experience I had ever had. My brother, speaking japanese, went along and we had a awesome time with the owner/chef. the prices are average to high but the service and interaction was amazing. the restaurant has multiple levels / areas for dining. The food was great!Sorry it took so long to get back to you.We received your visit Thank you very much.I hope you will visit us sometime soon!Live, Love,Laugh and be Happy!

After driving a distance from Mombetsu to Abashiri, Tsuki is a good place for a stop for lunch or so and the food is of good quality. There is a car park outside the restaurant so it's convenient for car travellers. The picture menu is user-friendly for tourists who don't know Japanese. The sushi is fresh and tasty. Besides sushi, other hot dishes are also quite good such as steak.
