Located in central Gävle this place offers a dining experience where you cook your own meat/fish whatever at the table using a 400 degrees (Celsius) hot lava stone. We had two different kinds of meats and a side of sallad and potato gratain. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it really wasn't special in anyway. It all was served with an individual hot stone, making it kind of crowded and cramped when you have to slice up the raw meat yourself to cook it. The service was pleasent and swift so no remarks there. If you've never tried this kind of diningexperience you might wanna try it. And if you got kids I'm sure the will like it, otherwise there is a lot of better alternatives.

Needed food. Didn't want to walk too far, as it was cold out and getting late. Chose the place next to the hotel. Lucky us!Friendly waitress, quick service. Beers up to 0.6 liters. The filet mignon part of the mixed grill was slightly over cooked, but tasted absolutely marvellous! Had spare ribs, chicken breast and bacon as well, all cooked to perfection. Very good veggies, oven baked "Italian style".My colleague loved the hickory burger as well.Not cheap, but worth every cent.Would eat there a lot of I lived there.

Looking for a place to eat on a lazy summer's afternoon we stumbled upon the CC-pub near the train station in Gävle. At 3 o'clock we were the only customers, but even when empty the pub has a pleasant atmosphere and we lingered for quite a while. The selection of beer is excellent and the food is swedish homely cooking taken up a notch.
