Selater Camping is a quiet and calm family camping, an idyllic setting for those who love nature. The campsite is located in a sheltered area with the forest as nearest neighbor but still near the salty seas and a stunning archipelago. Selaters Camping is located on the road towards Selater/Capri, 3,2 km from the centre of Stromstad. There are 350 campingspots and 69 cabins. Playground, paintball, kiosk, iscream and minigolf. Selater Havsbad is the closest beach 900 meters. Capri is the most beautiful beach in Stromstad it is less than 2 km from the Selater camping.
Agressive staff
Reviewed By thomashM5660XXPeacefull place until I was verbally attacked by restaurant-staff. I was brushing my teeth late at night. I had key for bathroom by reception. As staff was closing up the confronted me and wanted me to leave. Commented on how strange it was that I was there. They insulted me and husbond was ready for psysical confrontation. They were bossing me out of the building then jumped back in their car in very unpleasant and condensating way. As they drove off I was under the impression that I had done something wrong. Then I checked the keycard for toilet and I had acces. So apparently they must have thought I didnt belong there and was NOT a guest. But they didnt bother to ask who I was, just went straight into talking down into very physical threathening manner. What the hell is going on. Stay somewhere else If you want a nice peaceful place in Strømstad. Save yourself from weird abusive restaurant owner and protective stupid (maybe drunk! husbond. Need I say that it ruined my evening and I felt very little welcome after the unpleasant and unwanted confrontation.

Saltviks Camping lies in northern Bohuslän, 5 km north of Grebbestad. It is beautifully situated in the natural surroundings of a valley by the sea. Tjurpannans Nature Reserve is found on both sides of the camping site. This gives you a wonderful opportunity for wandering in Bohuslän's nature.
Nice and quiet place
Reviewed By Streaky2309Saltviks Camping is a very nice and quiet place right next to Tjurpannans Naturreservat. For us, a little family with a 6 months old baby, the place had everything we needed. The restrooms and all other facilities were clean. The way to the Naturreservat is a walk over sticks and stones but we could easily manage it with the baby. It is definitely worth it to walk there!

Kajkanten is located in Vrango Harbour, seven minutes walk from the ferry berth. Here are 11 boat-houses with 2-7 beds (including spare beds). Each boat-house is equipped with a shower, toilet and kitchenette for self-catering. The boat-houses are let on a daily or weekly basis. You get a discount if you rent per week or over the weekend. We are open the year around.

Reviewed By hannarheaThe owner and staff were lovely. Very friendly and hospitable. Location and views can't be beaten. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for a couple of days' stay, where we cooked most of our food. Grocery store nearby. Super cozy to have breakfast on tables on the dock. The large boathouse was a great size for a friends' trip. We also booked the floating sauna which I highly recommend for the view!

The 4-star Skotteksgarden Campsite & Bungalow village is situated in the outskirts of the picturesque town Ulricehamn. It is well managed, cosy and a place of great natural beauty right by Lake Asunden. We have our own beach, pier with a tower, beach volleyball, a romantic beach walk and a lot more. Our charming fully equipped bungalows and apartments sleep 2-12 persons. There are also wood fired stoves in all of our bungalows for that extra cosiness and warmth on a chilly day. The campsite is well drained, there is fresh water and sewage by all the electricity posts and we keep the service building clean and fresh.

Also restaurant on site. Swimming beach and water edge Sauna. Many available activities Boating, Fishing, Bicycle and Hiking trails along the lake. Amazing stay and relaxing place with a familiar feeling.

A different and cozy hotel in cabins that is in the middle of leafy environments. There are also two conference rooms with opportunities for team building. This is a quiet and relaxing place for adults. (16 year limit for overnight stay)

Reviewed By GGs_exploreWe had a wonderful stay at Bäverli Hills and would love to come back again in the future especially in the winter so we can make the most of the fireplace and sauna. Such a unique, charming, creative and cosy place. Our cottage was so lovely and comfortable. Close to nature and yet only a 5 minute drive from Lidköping. We will be recommending this to our friends! A must if you are in the area!

Location galore but don't shose the hostel accomodation
Reviewed By ASwedeExcellent place located on Göta Kanal. Camping site really good, coming by boat or motrohome. Good service, mediocre restuarant and the hostel rooms sub par. Mold and lots of insects inside. Had to take an antihistaminbe to survive the night. Choose a cabin or set up tent and it's heaven. Wifi only close to the reception.

In the Tösse archipelago on a small peninsula in Lake Vänern, you will find the beautifully situated Rolfskärr holiday village. Relax, swim, fish, or why not take an exciting excursion in the area? The cottages are located at the edge of the forest above beaches and cliffs where you have a mile-wide view of all of Vänern’s cobs and skerries. Cool off in the lake after a lovely forest walk or relax with a paddle ride in the mirror-shiny water. Enjoy the sunset in front of the fire on the beach while sipping a glass of cold to the scents of freshly caught grilled perch.
Cosy and natural by the lake
Reviewed By 651johanmThe family that runs this place since this summer is very welcoming. They're happy to chat and seem generally very happy to be there. Who wouldn't :) The reception is only open from 9-11 and from 14-17 but they helped us out several times outside the official hours. The location is absolutely gorgeous! Cottages are separated by a good distance, most if not all of the cottages have a direct view of the lake, it's breath-taking. By the beginning of august when we were there we could pick blueberries for breakfast just outside the cabin. There were mushrooms not far. A part from some trips on the lake we also went for a canoe-trip up a tiny little river (without current). It's about 2km long and 3-10m wide, since it's so narrow there's always something new to look at. The rooms were simple, functional. The kitchen seemed to be from the 70s and could use a fresh-up. On the other side they go with the style - traditional red-white cottages. Toilets are outside the cottages, and showers are communal (although reservable). That put me off in the beginning, but at the end I didn't think of it.

If You like forest...

There is also Beach in just 3 minutes walking, but thanks to God forest protect campsite from lake (keep in mind that this is big lake and camping is placed on southern shore so northern wind can hit it if not trees. Beach is nice and safe for children, covered with sand. Campsite is dry at least in this summer, so it is possibility to drive in and built tent aside of car, what is quite comfortable if you prefer to prepare food by your own. Conclusion: if you not pretend to great comfort and service, but just want to find silent place for rest - that really can be your place - AND NO MOSQUITO.

Our newly built accommodation is cozy placed in the middle of the forest with walking- or driving distance to the main building.The rooms have their own shower and toilet and are furnished with two single beds, lounge chairs or sofa, fridge, kettle and boot dryer. Outside on the wooden deck you can sit a while and enjoy the peace and ponder life's mysteries or planning for the next activity.You can rent accommodation with or without breakfast.
Great value for money, wonderful location
Reviewed By travels_ahoyStayed for 1 night and had a wonderful time. The area is lovely for walking and wildlife spotting, and the staff are super friendly. We had asked for dinner the night we stayed and the food was simple but delicious, and breakfast was very well catered for. For a small charge, they will also provide you with food wrap etc and you can use the breakfast provisions (bread, cheese, sliced meat etc) to prepare a packed lunch to take walking with you. Rooms were simple but spacious, and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
