We stopped here en route Colonia to Mercedes and felt we made a good choice. Had quite a selection from menu between us and all was good. Freshly prepared, promptly served with a smile and reasonably priced. I recommend.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a saturday and the town looked very quiet, so we found this restaurant at a hotel. The food was good but there was just one lady that seemed pleased to be serving us. The others were not so attentive.

Ao chegarmos a Carmelo, perguntamos a uma moradora em conversa informal onde poderÃamos comer a melhor "parrillada" uruguaia na região. QuerÃamos um lugar sem frescura, com preço justo e que não fosse turÃstico. Ela imediatamente nos informou do Lo del Poto. Lugar simples com uma imensa churrasqueira, onde Poto nos ajuda a escolher dentre as carnes disponÃveis e nos serve em um rechaud que mantem a carne quentinha todo o tempo. Escolhe-se o acompanhamento e temos uma refeição tipica e saborosa, com gosto 100% local. Cerveja gelada e preço justo.
