Patagonia is a great example of a restaurant knowing what they do best and sticking to it. The choices on the menu are excellent. We shared the caprese salad, grilled vegetables and steak skewers. The vegetables were very fresh and the steak was tender and cooked just as selected. The service was outstanding!

We went here for a family meal and really enjoyed the food, but be prepared for paying a lot for this experience. Children are catered for, but â¬12 for a very small ham and cheese pizza was extortionate. The breads provided were lovely, but had to be paid for, another â¬12...The decor and surrounds are really nice, and would certainly be a great place for a romantic meal for two. Leave the kids at home and truly relish the experience!

Before our meal the waiter brought out a small dish of house cured olives, which according to my companion were excellent! They also get extra points for bringing beer in a frozen mug, it was a really hot day and we had just walked about 4 miles in the sun so we were ready for a cold one. We shared the menu de pescado (fish) and the menu de carne (meat). The first fish course was grilled shrimp and croquettes, the first meat course was an Argentine meat pie and a grilled sausage. The grilled sausage was garlicky and well seasoned, it was easily the best part of the first course and the entire meal. Everything else was fine and kind of boring. The second fish course was grilled salmon and fries. The salmon was cooked well but tasted fishy. The second meat course was grilled pork, which was also cooked well and was pretty tasty. The fries were average. The service was good, the waiter was very gracious when we broke a fortunately empty wine glass. The total was 30euro + tip, which seemed a bit high for an average meal.

Cannot understand why this is rated so highly! We travelled by taxi from other side of San Juan because of the high ratings but left extremely disappointed.We arrived on a Friday evening about 8.30, restaurant was empty. We ordered drinks, we then ordered steaks, entrcote for my wife and sirloin for myself, and asked for them to be cooked rare.They came with french fries and mild peppers. We were amazed how quickly the food was served, literally 5 - 10 minutes. The steaks were raw in parts, there is a difference between raw and cooked rare!! They were full of fat and grizzle and unpleasant to eat. We pointed this out to Antonio the owner and he literally did not want to know arguing that that was the manner of this type of steak. WHAT NONSENSE. We paid and left. Needless to say we won't be back.Good afternoon and thank you for sharing your opinion.The weekends here in Spain usually dinner after 8:30 pm, that's the reason why there are less people and we can serve the customers faster, than when the restaurant is full.Related about the meat there are some with more fat than others, as you said sirloin we do not serve in our restaurant, perhaps you tried the Iberian pen, which is just a meat fat, and for that reason, usually our customers like it because that grease have a very special taste and for this reason fond and melts in the mouth, apart from the very good taste that all our customers comment.We always approach after serving the dishes to ask if everything is fine, if there is not cooking or anything else, and to be able to solve any detail in time, we tend to pay close attention about cooking, but if you return to dinner and it is not correct , do not hesitate in commenting, and we solve it.I hope to welcome you again and you can enjoy as all our customers the quality of our meats.A cordial greeting,Antonio Zamarreño
