After reading so many amazing reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Right from the moment we entered the restaurant we were treated with respect and felt as if the woman who seated really cared, and as it turned out, she was the owner, so she does care. She was very welcoming, and proud of what the kitchen produces. Her husband is the chef, and they have this place operating so well in so many aspects..servers well trained, hands on involvement from Vee (the owner), and we never felt rushed. The Caesar salad was pretty amazing, light oil dressing, loved it. Our entrees were so good, and pretty large portions. Veal Marsala did not disappoint, and the roast beef meal was a hit with my husband. The bread served was tasty, and made in their own kitchen. The desserts looked amazing, but we left no room for them. They were huge portions, so next time I am skipping the salad to ensure I have room to try the dessert options. Wine prices were reasonable by the glass or bottle. There was lots of parking spots available on the property, so I can't see that being a problem. We already are talking about our return visit, thanks for a wonderful dining experience.Thank you for taking the time to give us such a great 5 star review!! We pride ourselves in all aspects of our business and love to hear that your entire dining experience was a 5-star experience. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and the Chef prides himself in using only the freshest ingrediants, and supporting our local farmers by purchasing all of our potatoes and vegetables directly from them. After golfing The Ridge, which has fabulous views, my date and I were fortunate enough to experience the date night menu, which had some wonderful options. We shared deep fried cauliflower, sweet potatos, olives and jalenpenos with a light blue cheese sauce for dipping. I had the striploin entree, which was a perfect medium rare, and we had what I think was the BEST pots de creme dessert that I have ever had! The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fine dining!Thank you very much for writing such a glowing review! My husband and I decided to splurge and eat at The Keg. We ordered the filet mignon and my husband also had lobster tails which he asked if garlic could be added to the butter. When the food finally came, the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. However the rice and lobster tails and veggies were stone cold. The butter had no garlic. The waiter took all the food back except the steak and we waited....and waited. 20 minutes later after the steak was gone the rest of the food arrived. By this time our appetite was gone and we were totally disappointed in the experience. They deducted the amount for the lobster tails from our bill. We left after paying $150 for a meal we didn't enjoy. Shame on you Keg! You can do better. We won't be returning for a long time.
