Bibby's Corner have the best breakfast in town. Their breakfast is large and reasonably priced. 3 eggs with choice of bacon or sausages served and toasts but you can opt for pancakes or French toast food is cooked to your liking. Plate is well presented. Coffee is extra but it is bottomless.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the New south west style burger. Patty, bacon, fried onions, hot peppers & chipotle sauce...thinking this would be good....it was terrible, Pickles were too strong with vinegar, chipotle sauce had no flavour, burger was burnt as was the bun which I could not even cut through. I removed the bun from the burger in the hopes or salvaging some of my meal.. Removed the hot peppers and ate them separate, ate the bacon separate and then ate the rest of the burnt, tasteless burger. I had ordered an order of Onion rings to go with my meal, they were also grossly overcooked and hard. My husband had the Club with coldslaw....a much better choice than mine. Bottom line is I will NEVER eat at a Wimpey's again as prior to doing reviews on trip advisor I had had a bad experience witht he St. Catharines Location as well...I whought I would give them another try...huge mistake!

We visited on a Thursday. It was very quiet which we liked. The fries were very good, made from real potatoes. The fish was,batter was lite and not over saturated with grease. Anna was our server, very nice and friendly. However, as other guests have commented, we agree the price is a bit much. Overall, good place for fish and chips.

I come here once a year. Friends and I do an annual skating event and we end the night with dinner at the Riverview Restaurant. The food is good, plentiful and well-priced. The potato bacon soup is great, the burger is massive and the mini pies are amazing! I buy extra to take home!

Not having a chance for breakfast that day we saw the Pioneer and decided to try it for an early lunch ... we were NOT disappointed. The restaurant has been there for over 50 years in the same location, and yes, the decor and layout is still the same but the food was exceptional; it's still like the "one-of" family restaurants of yesteryear where the owner (usually Mom & Pop) took great pride in serving good home-cooked food at a very respectable price.The staff were friendly and it seems to be a meeting place for the local people who seem to frequent often; although 'out-of-towners', we were treated with friendliness and courtesy and a sincere concern that we were enjoying our visit. They serve good coffee and it's often said if the coffee is good the food will be too!We've been back and enjoyed it as much the second visit as the first ... looking forward to the third.

Went for lunch and had Fish N Chips ( Haddock ) . It was excellent . Coleslaw was ok. I noticed they sold homemade tarts. So I bought 6 for 9.00 . Took them home for my husband. They are over baked and poorly done. I would not recommend the tarts. Not worth the price for the tarts. But the lunch was amazing.Thank you for your review! I am glad to hear about your positive lunch experience but very sorry to hear about your issue with the tarts. I am the new owner who took over on January 14th, 2019.
