A nice dinner a rainy night. I had the chicken burger but didn't want anything too spicy, the waitress (Nancy) recommended the Mississippi sauce instead and it was perfect sweet with a bit of a bite. A very generous chicken breast with great toppings. The lights sangria was a nice pairing.

They are always very busy by lunch time but worth the wait. The servers have the energy needed to keep up with the line ups. Always had good coffee but on the odd occasion not super hot. Sandwiches are served fresh. Nothing prepackaged .

Not having a chance for breakfast that day we saw the Pioneer and decided to try it for an early lunch ... we were NOT disappointed. The restaurant has been there for over 50 years in the same location, and yes, the decor and layout is still the same but the food was exceptional; it's still like the "one-of" family restaurants of yesteryear where the owner (usually Mom & Pop) took great pride in serving good home-cooked food at a very respectable price.The staff were friendly and it seems to be a meeting place for the local people who seem to frequent often; although 'out-of-towners', we were treated with friendliness and courtesy and a sincere concern that we were enjoying our visit. They serve good coffee and it's often said if the coffee is good the food will be too!We've been back and enjoyed it as much the second visit as the first ... looking forward to the third.

Recommend this restaurant for breakfast. Service is quick and friendly. Eggs made to order, bacon strips are a good size and flavourful.One area to improve is to offer maple syrup instead of regular table syrup to make the pancakes even more enjoyable.

Stopped in while on a road trip with my husband. Friendly staff. Dark interior bar/pub area. Patios with chairs & umbrellas. Sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Great menu selection. We ordered a chopped salad & the house burger. Both were served quickly and cooked perfectly. Lots of fixins' on the salad. Yum! Nice place to grab a quick bite.

Went for lunch and had Fish N Chips ( Haddock ) . It was excellent . Coleslaw was ok. I noticed they sold homemade tarts. So I bought 6 for 9.00 . Took them home for my husband. They are over baked and poorly done. I would not recommend the tarts. Not worth the price for the tarts. But the lunch was amazing.Thank you for your review! I am glad to hear about your positive lunch experience but very sorry to hear about your issue with the tarts. I am the new owner who took over on January 14th, 2019. Lemar's Pizza offers a great walk in special, for just over ten bucks, you are getting a one topping large, it's well worth it. The cheese is the real deal and any toppings I've put on my pizza's have been solid. Located in downtown Bradford, Lemar's is a much better option than your chain offerings. It's essentially, a walk in place with a couple of stools, so not a "family" stop to dine in. The service is always friendly, I would not hesitate to recommend Lemar's!

Took my wife to Brick'n'Fire for our anniversary dinner and had an amazing time! Made a reservation and they found a nice intimate spot for us. Our waiter was funny and attentive but gave us the space to enjoy our intimate dinner. Food was delicious! From the apps (beet salad was amazing!) to the main course, everything was wonderful! My wife had the pasta and I had the salmon, both of which were cooked perfect! We had some wine and I found the wine list to be very reasonably priced. Had a wonderful time and will be going back!
