We were visiting Modesto for the weekend and wanted to try a local Mexican spot for dinner We were more than satisfied with our experience..Smaller menu but they still have many things to offer.You order food, they give you a number and bring you your food.Nice salsa bar..Prices are fine. Service was quick.. food showed up so hot, in a good way.The combo plate was good with a tostada and Chile relino.... The burrito was huge and the Al pastor was good.Overall, solid meal...

My friend and I enjoy ordering off the cheaper lunch menu. I had a humongous super burrito which was fantastic. The only thing I would change is to add a grilled chicken salad to the lunch menu. The young waitress kept calling us "honey" & "sweetie" but we did not tell her it was irritating. I admit that we cringed each time we heard it .She meant no harm & she was sweet.

I pick-up Mexican food from this restaurant on average twice a month. My favorites are their soft tacos, chile rellenos, and nachos. The different fresh sauces available from which the diner can choose, make the dishes. The ambience is not wonderful for dining in, but the food makes it worthwhile, hence the takeout decision.
