This place is not attractive and feels cheap inside, but the food is amazing. We tried the clam chowder, crabcakes for appetizers and stuffed shrimp and a chicken dish for our main course. Both main courses came over delicious chunky mashed potatoes with a vegetable on the side. The prices were reasonable for the freshness and quality of the food. Pay by cash or check only and BYOB.

My son and I went in following the lunch rush. By now most places are over people and are not the most friendly. This experience was nothing like that! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and talkative. It wasn’t the fake friendly either, it was genuine and sincere. They talked to my son and made jokes with him. They made the experience even better for us as first timers! The sandwich’s are so good! Fresh veggies and toasted perfectly! Tons of options to chose from! I can’t wait to go back and try a new one! Definitely filling!

Rockne's

In our city (Kent, OH)) restaurants come and go, but one always remains popular, and that's Rockne's. You'd better go hungry, because portion are large. They have so many signature dishes, it's hard to say what is their best. But they are famous for their salads. Always fresh and very big, there are 6 or 8 to choose from. Their overstuffed sandwiches are huge. But the thing everybody mentions about Rockne's is their fries. Mounds come as a side for any of their sandwiches, and usually a half sandwich with fries is more than most people can eat. The atmosphere is casual and inviting and the service is always prompt. It makes you want to go back for more.
