A friend told us about Back 40, glad he did. Probably the best salsa I've ever had. Everything is fresh. The service was fantastic. Great vibe. I can't wait to go back.

Been here many times. Quirky menu, items named after friends and family members. Vegans,cheese lovers and meat eaters will all be welcome here. The hummus platter, called "The Nur" is, in my opinion, the best in Saint Augustine. You order at the counter, and they bring food to you. I personally like that, very small place, maybe 20 seats. Lots of specials, unique recipes, great food!

We visited on opening day and couldnât stay away! The owner, chef, and staff were all friendly and accommodating!The owner has been in the business for over twenty years in Florida and sold her established restaurant to move near this beautiful coastal community. They have an established Chef who has worked at many well known restaurants in St Augustine. The restaurant is completely new and has a beach theme and relaxing atmosphere. You have the choice to sit inside or dine outside.Theyâre both family and pet friendly. Whether youâre a local or visiting on vacation this restaurant is a must see! They presently have two large flat screen televisions and enjoyable background music.The restaurant will be expanding itâs hours and will soon feature live entertainment.The restaurant has a variety of items to choose from on the menu and truly has something for everyone. Our food was delicious! On our first visit, my husband had the eggs, bacon, & french toast. He loved his meal and especially his french toast. I had poached eggs, pancakes, bacon, & toast. I have been too many restaurants in the area and this is the only place that has been able to prepare my poached eggs the way that I like them. I enjoyed my food and the flavor of my pancakes. Our kids, had chocolate waffles with fresh fruit. They had never had a chocolate waffle before! Thank you for bringing new choices to the area! The food is fresh and made to order.The lobster bisque which is the ownerâs secret recipe was amazing also! I couldnât stay away and have already been back again. We sat on the upper deck after sunset since there was nice breeze blowing. My husband & I enjoyed the Blackened Seafood and the Blackened Chicken. The overall experience would have been been better if the waiter would have been more personable. He seemed bothered that he had to wait on us.

My husband and I went to La taza to grab a quick sandwich. The cleanliness is so nice. Happy faces and best chicken salad ever. What turned out to be a quick stop ended up being a very pleasant experience. One of our favorite to go places.

This restaurant is on the beach in the beach access parking lot. Fantastic views of the ocean. There is outdoor covered seating as well as upstairs indoor seating. My husband had the Jambalaya with chicken and sausage. He loved it. The chicken wings were well liked as well as the fish tacos. Nice selection of fresh fish options. Service was good and an overall great evening.
