We have visited Alexandros Wageningen several times over the years, so I assume that I can judge restaurant Alexandros properly without being distracted by incidents. This recent visit did not diverge from my expectations, based on experience. Friendly service, tasty food and large portions, but somewhat longer waiting times than could be wished. Prices are of the usual ambitious Dutch level, but Alexandros is active on auction web sites and Groupon, so keep an eye on these sites for a discounted voucher.

This restaurant is perfect! The food is excellent... I've tried a lot of different dishes (from pastas, pizzas, paninis, desserts) and all of them are delicious. They serve great wines and have Nespresso café. The staff are italian and they are very friendly. The restaurant is small and inside the C1000 supermarket but it doesn't matter because once you are inside the smell of the food and the coziness of the restaurant make you feel really comfortable. If you are in a hurry you can also pass by the restaurant and choose something to take-away.At the restaurant they also sell several italian products like pastas, wines and cookies. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone (especially if you appreciate italian food), I always love to go there.

This place is a bit hard to find. It has a rather nice atmosphere. The sushi can be bought all-you-can-eat style obviously. Five rounds of five dishes. That is quite a lot and we only came up to the fourth round. The food was okay, but definitely not extremely special or top-notch yummi. Quality was rather average. The can of tea we could share with the three of us, while being refilled all the time. That was good (I did actually not check the check wether we all three had to pay or we shared the price...)

The chef is certainly creative. But the dishes of our tasting menu were of very uneven quality. Too often the taste did not match the beautiful presentation.The shallot bavarois was wonderful. But then the combination of a Marsala cookie with chicken skin does not work, as the crispness of the chicken skin does not make it self felt with the cookie.The meat with the 'main course' was very good and tender. But what an anti-climax to be served fries and mayonnaise during such a menu.The huge desert was pretty weird and very salty in taste.All in all, there is ample room for improvement. And I think the kitchen needs to test their meals more before sending them out to the customers.

Three times in ten years and this chef-owned, family-operated gourmet restaurant has been an excellent choice for dinner. It is consistently very good with moments of gourmet excellence. The service staff is outstanding. The wine list is limited, but satisfying. Whenever I am within 10 km, I will be there unless my dear Dutch friends insist on a family meal.

Situated close to a protected natural area this restaurant is a typical Dutch lunch bistro (btw, never been there for dinner). Fast service, average menu and average food (typical Dutch lunch food). But good quality vs price ratio. And staff very children friendly. We will come back...

If I want to have real Italian pizza in Wageningen I go to this restaurant. The dough is good and the topping really tasty. I tried several kind of pizza, including calzone, and I was never disappointed. The pizzaiolo knows how to do his job!I wouldn't recommend the pasta dishes though, I tried a couple of them and I was not happy. They were OK but they didn't taste as they should (and I'm Italian, I know what I am talking about ).

I was in Wageningen for a few days on business and stopped in here for dinner. I enjoyed the experience. Food was good, prices reasonable, and very good service. I would stop in here again.
