After a long day, we stopped off here for a late lunch/early dinner. My Jamaican colleagues selected chicken, oxtail and pork while my English colleague and I chose the coconut curried shrimp and the Alfredo shrimp. All 8 of us really enjoyed our food and the waitress was bright and cheery. The views are also very pleasant as you look over the sea. Throw in the fact that 8 of us ate for around 13,000 JD and you will see that this place is well worth a visit.

I wouldn't really call this a "beach." It's very small and the buoys are very close like it's a kiddie pool. But this review is specifically for the food, which was so delicious and filling!Lobster, jerk chicken, rice & peas, and a strawberry daiquiri to top it off.Nice cabanas in the background for you to relax on. Not sure if it costs extra, probably.

We had the peppers and tomatoes stuffed with shrimp and snapper escovetich, veggie omelette, soup, fruit salad and dessert. Quiant setting overlooking the sea. My drawback is there isn't a menu or pricing available. I just wanted a quick dinner. I enjoyed the service though.

In an unlikely place on a tarnished beach that has its loyal fans and new ones too.Breadfruit, cassava and pumpkin at the very leastplus other local names and ideas. On day one the warm and smiling man produced a wildly good plateand Cynthia looked on with smiles. On day two the plateshad shrunk and were less varied. The two looked less smiling and lunch was three times the price.Still very good but simply less very good. I would goagain tomorrow. Sunday is a great day in Port Antonio.Cynthia's is worth it. Do go.

Went there for our Fifth Year anniversary. Didn't expect much being that it wasn't an all inclusive hotel, however I was blown away when I entered to a fresh open room, atop side a lovely view of the ocean. the room was very intimate and the rustic vibe created by the furniture is definitely a 10/10. The meal (we just had breakfast) was good. The grounds were clean, staff was friendly and genuine and I loved the fact that I could lay down on the sheets and smell the fresh linen scent.

Cons: Food took more than 1h to be served. They messed up one order - we got garlic instead of coconut sauce. Prices are not listed and locals don’t pay the same. Credit card payments are charged in USD, they don’t allow you to pay in local currency because they charge more in USD. If you order lobster they won’t serve it in the shell, which is dodgy because you’ve no way to know if you’re getting what you paid for. Pros: Lobster and plantains were good - fried fish is nothing to write home about.
