Friendly/competent service: good help with understanding some menu items, good recommendations and 'why,' Pacing of the dishes could have been smoother.Food: excellent, tasty. Tempura was light and fresh. Had the Wagyu from the Yamaguchi Prefecture and Wagyu from the Miyazaki Prefecture. Cooked nicely. At $48 per ounce, it's not cheap, but then we didn't expect it to be. I don't mind paying for good food.Ambience: better than the photos looked on the website. Much more cozy and warm. We had a table for 4, kind of tucked in a front corner, low lighting, comfortable colors. Very nice.Dear WillWork,Thank you so much for your kind review. We love to read that you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to serving you again soon!Sincerely,Paul Gerhard | General Manager | Roka Akor480-306-8800 | [email protected]

Ended in this very cool place with some colleagues following suggestions of local businessmen. The place is very nice and cool even if a little bit packed with tables...you basically have waiters that have to zig-zag between tables and of course they can’t help to hit you...About the food, we had a small tower of fresh raw seafood: pretty disappointing in terms of taste but scenic. Maybe the seafood was not SUPER SUPER fresh ....fresh but not that much. Then I had pepper crust big eye tuna: simply delicious !!! Service: very good Prices: ok, it’s pretty expensive but less than you could expect
