Went there for lunch. I had a cup of clam chowder and it was delicious. Nice amount of clams to ratio of potato, very tasty and creamy. I had chicken wings for my meal and they were cooked to perfection. They somehow managed to make the outside crispy the way I love them without being dry. 5 Stars on that alone! Husband had grilled Rueben, one of his favorite sandwiches that he gets frequently when we go out and he said it was the best one he's ever had. Now that's a pretty big statement because he has had them in almost every state we have been too. I am looking forward to go back for dinner. Hope it's as great as the lunch was!! Highly recommend. Our server was great and he was very informative when I asked him about various things on the menu. Wish I could remember his name because he was really great!
My wife and I decided to give Theodores's a try this past Saturday evening, and we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual. The decorative style is a bit dated, but I like that. The food was fantastic! I started with the French Onion soup which was out of this world. It had just enough cheese and croutons to complement a very rich and flavorful soup. For our entrees, my wife had the broiled salmon, which she said was delicious. She had a sizable baked potato with the usual fixings, which she also enjoyed. I had the haddock stuffed with lobster, shrimp, and scallops. This was hands down one of the best stuffed haddock dinners I have ever enjoyed. The fish was light and flaky, and the stuffing was loaded with shrimp, lobster meat and scallops. There was no skimping on anything. For dessert my wife had the strawberry shortcake. The portion was large, and included fresh biscuits, a very good vanilla ice cream, loads of strawberries, and of course whipped cream. I had the bread pudding with whiskey sauce. This was also absolutely delicious. The bead pudding was firm and not soggy, with a nice combination of vanilla and caramel flavors. The whiskey sauce was perfect. Our meal also came with fresh warm bread and nice dinner salads. My wife and I enjoyed all of this deliciousness for under $55.00. We will definitely be putting Theodores's on the top of our restaurant choices from now on. I highly recommend this establishment.

Nice customer service but the pleasure ended there. It had been over 10 years since I ate at a Long John's and it might be 20 before I even think about it again.I got the fish/chicken/shrimp combo with fries and hush puppies. The hush puppies were the highlight of the food and they were not that good but did have some taste to them. The batter on all three of the items was way too thick so I had a hard time tasting the items.I took most of the batter off after a few bites and by then was so disappointed I wound up throwing over half the food away. The shrimp was the best of the three, then the fish and finally the very rubbery chicken. The fries were some of the worst I had ever had.I am a big fan of Taco Bell and will eat there many times but Long John's is simply not good quality in my opinion.
