Open on Sunday evening, this place seemed an obvious choice and we were delighted with our meal.Located in a small road just near the town centre, there is some limited parking as well as outside seating (but no water view). The menu is really interesting, the chef has clearly put a lot of thought into producing interesting dishes. My wife loved the lobster ravioli as her main course, and my cod with pasta was well seasoned with herbs and spices. One pleasing thing about this restaurant was the table water. We’ve been travelling through New England for the past 5 days, and this is the first time the (free) table water had been filtered and didn’t taste of chlorine! The staff were very good, knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The price was on the ‘high side’ but not a complete surprise in such a charming and popular location.Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Top notch menu and staff. No wonder rated #1 in Camden. We had the seafood sampler as starter followed by the wild rice crusted haddock - both were simply outstanding. Their limited menu means that everything is done just right. The chef/owner, Michael Salmon, came out and asked us how we enjoyed the meal - such a nice, personal touch. We responded affirmatively and enthusiastically. Don't miss this one!!Wow! Thank you Charles, I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your dinner with us. Hope to see you again soon.

We've always been fans of Alisson's in Kennebunkport when it comes to lobster rolls, and while this didn't live up to our memories of the ones we had at Alissons, they were really, really good. And, as we discovered a few days later when we stopped at Alisson's on our way back home, better than what we got there this time. Go figure!

Nice pub / restaurant in Lincolnville serving local food and British style fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. Why in newspaper is the question I now sense Americans are asking themselves? Well, traditionally the British did use to have fish and chips served in newspaper, especially in the immediate post 2nd world war years, but we’ve long since stopped that and they are now provided in re cycled paper. Enough distraction with the fish and chips! The choice of food was very good, my wife enjoyed her sea food bake and my haddock with clam chowder was also good with plenty of fish in the chowder.Prices were very reasonable and this was probably reflected by how busy the pub was on a Sunday lunch.

Chez Michel Restaurant

Chez Michel is a cut apart from most Lincolnville restaurants, which serve lobster with no more panache than Coney Island serves hotdogs. Presumably French, Monsieur Michel serves American classics but prepared with French nuances that distinguish his menu from the others along Lincolnville Beach. Take something as plain as white rice. Across the street, at Whale's Tooth, I took white rice as a side. What came was a packed and flavorless lump from, it appeared, an inverted coffee cup. At Chaz Michel, my sidekick Yvonne's rice was truly flavorful, prepared with herbs and olive oil. My lobster stew was just that, thick with with thumb-size chunks .of claw in a light tasty broth--not heavy cream nor chunks of potato. Inexcusably, since this town lives on lobster, (For my entree, I had a 12-ounce prime rib. Michel should stick to seafood.) Our check came to $98. But that included three glasses of wine. Such was our dinner at Michael's, that we returned a day later. Alas, it was closed. We learned it also closes Monday and Tuesday. I'm docking Monsieur Michel a star fro that.
