Food as always is delicious or maybe more than delicious !!!Prices absolutely reasonable and if the weather allows it, the lunch outside it much better. The interior is perfect !

This is cooking honest, traditional, delicious greek food.Trey really know how to do it, and they do it right (Don't tell my yiayia, but their dolmathakia, made-from-scratch stuffed vine leaves, are better than hers). They did not have a menu in english when we went, but all waiters were speaking english and were ready to explain everything to my british friends. The restaurant was packed with local families but service was fast and servers kind and smiling.

Mpoukia Mpoukia (pronounced bukia bukia) is a small restaurant on the beach front. The food they serve is excellent, the prices are modest and Maria (co-owner) is a very nice person to meet. The grilled kalamari is a must try! You will enjoy every bite you'll have here.

The taverna is secluded in Xios Karouli area opposite a local Pharmacy. The taverna is big to accommodate many people, very traditional and has a lot of old gadgets like a music box, old radios and lp players. The service is friendly and fast, food is tasty and portions are big. The local people have dinner here. The advices were remarkable by waiter. The water fountain gives relaxlation totaly.

More like a resort than just a restaurant / bar - adjoining establishments, Karafaki (restaurant) & Oasis (cafe & bar) - with a number of table & lounging areas spilling over both sides of the boardwalk, right on the beach at Karfas (probably Chios's widest & most beautiful bathing beach) - has all bases covered. From a relaxed brunch, a snack, coffee or cold beer, right through dinner to drinks into the wee hours .. they even do 'beach-service' to their own umbrella'd sun-lounges right there on the sand!Like old friends, delightfully warm & accommodating hosts, Geralien & Kostas, are even more sparkling & inviting than the beautiful blue Aegean Oasis-Karafaki overlooks.Nothing was too much trouble, including inventive suggestions / alterations to accommodate any dietary preference.Relaxed, spaciously spread out (& very kid-friendly) with warm attentive staff, an extensive menu of fresh local & international dishes, & great value for money - & all in a 'postcard' beautiful location - Oasis-Karafaki is a gem.

Oasis has been in business for more than 25 years , and it is easy to see why. Situated right on the beach , and offering both table and sunbed service of a range of competitively priced drinks , snacks and light meals. Very friendly owners are always willing to assist you in any way possible.

We were in Chios for Easter as it is regarded as a big festival in Greece. We were looking for a restaurant that specialises in the Easter holidays. Agyra, which means Anchor in English, was recommended to us by our hotel manager. She booked our table for us. When we arrived the restaurant was full of locals so we were lucky to get a table. The food was superb and the owner who took our order never wrote a thing down and when the food arrived it was exactly what we ordered and was served promptly. I will definitely use this restaurant again.
