Pastas, antipasti are all first class! You need to make a reservation. The staff is kind and helpfull but theyâre too busy and always in run :)! The place is not very charming, especially the tables outside but you can eat real italian food with very tasty greek touches

What to say for Ammothines RestaurantWhatever tastes you are looking for Chian traditional meals you can easily combine them with a wonderful view in the restaurant's out tables into karfas beach.Traditional meals of Fishes etc also Pork Beefs Chicken everything we could say comes in connection with new modern cuisine and finally the result is modern plates which makes you travel within the world of tastes of Chios Island.Needless to say Kidsfriendly and of course the owners understand shares the parents concern about food and well done meals......as they are also parents..Greek Hospitality and kindness to the maximum... Beginning: A little difficult to find but not that difficult.Arriving there: Very friendly welcome at a place with magnificent view.Food: Very very good and tasty - beware of big portions.Pricing: medium to lowConclusion: Do not leave the island without trying it. Really authentic and the best by far of our stay in Karfas. Not on the sea front but very busy and for good reason. Excellent house red served at right temperature, not ice cold. Will visit again, thanks.

We were in Chios for Easter as it is regarded as a big festival in Greece. We were looking for a restaurant that specialises in the Easter holidays. Agyra, which means Anchor in English, was recommended to us by our hotel manager. She booked our table for us. When we arrived the restaurant was full of locals so we were lucky to get a table. The food was superb and the owner who took our order never wrote a thing down and when the food arrived it was exactly what we ordered and was served promptly. I will definitely use this restaurant again.

Islands are known for their great taverna food... However, if you want a little change make sure you visit My Cafe... I came back after approx. one year and they did not disappoint me!The prices are fair and they have really great and fresh food, still!I highly recommend the baked pork leg (legendary!!) and the fried mastello cheese with honey!The upper terrace is beautiful during the sunset and the staff is very friendly.It isnât located at the sea, but in a small village and the food is compensating it ;)

I have tried their bougatsas in the morning - kasseri and fetta cheese as well as the sweet one with cream. All really fresh and delicious. Tried also some sweets and ice cream. Also highly recommended, especially their ice cream which as we have been told is made by them. They also have a great variety of savory and sweet waffles and pancakes to select from.The place is also very clean and nicely decorated.

We were 2 weeks on the island and we visited many times this place. Everything was really delicious,even feta cheese was so tasty. We were also impressed by the beef steak. The couple (owners) very kind-hearted! Next year we ll visit this place again!
