Reviewed By Eleni SWe've been visiting it for years. The perfect place to stay in if you wantto visit south rethymno! Clean, quiet, friendly! The view from the room is beautiful! Rooms are cleaned every day! Petro's raki is the best, just tru it out someday!

This hotel is without doubt one of the nicest places we've stayed. A family run business, attention to detail and the guests are at the core of everything Margaret and her team deliver. Spacious rooms, basic self-catering facilities and lovely outdoor space for every room mean that a stay here is as comfortable as being at home. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you Manolis and Filo for yet another fabulous stay in your lovely Skinos Apartments!! We simply love this place - quiet, clean, simple, convenient, beautiful, relaxing. What we love most about Skinos is the simplicity - it forces you to slow down, stop and simply enjoy every day - from the minute the sun rises from behind the mountain and slowly starts lighting up the sky, sea and the "dragon mountain" (view from the apartment). Througout the day the sea changes constantly in colours and texture, birds migrating flitt by, and late at night we find ourselves still sitting on the verandah - star gazing and listening to the gentle roll of the pebbles in the waves just across the street. Thank you for the lovely fresh linen and plenty of towels every week; the apartments are perfect - simple, without any unnecesary 'stuff" in the way - a perfect Beach place with plenty of place to hang beach towels and beachwear, packing/hanging place for your clothes and the small kitchenette is very well equiped to make meals if self catering. Shops and restaurants/taverna's are walking distance (5-10minutes) away, and free parking on site. Manolis and Filo - Thank you for being the perfect hosts yet again. Apartments Stochos is situated in Agia Galini beach,built next to the sea, only a few meters away. The apartments is known for its family environment as well as the uniqueness of the area, an attribute you will feel upon arriving.
Renovated but still the same warm atmosphere
Reviewed By Wouter VI stayed here a few years ago and felt "in paradise". Now I came back to relax for a week. The rooms are even better after renovation. The kitchen still serves great food and the warm atmosphere was kept during renovation. Covid-19 makes they have extra work carefully disinfecting everything all the time but there's still room for fun, smiles and table talks (with face masks for staff) for every guest. A great choice to come back with friends (and wondering why I didn't do so much earlier)

Reviewed By 777WRJBeautifully appointed apartments. Quiet and easily accessible to town and the great walks of plakias. Apparently designed by an architect and it shows. We have stayed here a number of times now and it is by far our favourite. Rooms are good sizes and each has its own private garden. Small pool on roof.

Un fantastico soggiorno ad Agia Galini
Reviewed By marchino08Appartamento a pochi passi dal mare 400 metri max, abbiamo apprezzato molto la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari. Si può fare spesa al market sempre della stessa famiglia con il 10% di sconto (ad Agia Galini evitate di andare a cercare prezzi migliori, nn ne troverete) e si può usufruire gratuitamente della piscina dell'hotel Petra proprio davanti ad Athena apt. Puliscono e rifanno la stanza tutti i giorni. Noi avevamo l'apt più grande, il nr. 7, arredamento moderno e tutto nuovo, ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo consiglio vivamente x il vs soggiorno in zona centro/sud cretese.

Το Galini προσφερει θεα στο κολπο του Πλακια, καθως επισης στουντιο και διαμερισματα με δυνατοτητα προετοιμασιας γευματων και θεα στο Λιβυκο Πελαγος και το βουνο. Διαθετει κηπο με παιδικη χαρα και δωρεαν προσβαση Wi-Fi σε ολους τους χωρους. Τα κλιματιζομενα διαμερισματα του Galini ειναι απλα επιπλωμενα και περιλαμβανουν κουζινα πληρους μεγεθους η μικρη κουζινα, καθως επισης δορυφορικη τηλεοραση, πλυντηριο και στεγνωτηρα μαλλιων. Ολα τα στουντιο και τα διαμερισματα διαθετουν μπαλκονι η βεραντα. Η αμμωδης παραλια του Πλακια απεχει 2χλμ., Ενω η παραλια Δαμνονι βρισκεται 3χλμ. Μακρια. Η γραφικη πολη του Ρεθυμνου απεχει 30 λεπτα με το αυτοκινητο απο τα διαμερισματα. Στις εγκαταστασεις του ξενοδοχειου προσφερεται δωρεαν ιδιωτικος χωρος σταθμευσης.
Quiet and peaceful apartments
Reviewed By mairead hThe shower was too small but that was our only negative experience and not an unusual drawback in apartments in Crete. The welcome from the owner was very friendly and she made us some iced coffee as soon as we arrived and we felt right at home. We had a large apartment with a separate bedroom and a balcony with a beautiful view of the hills and the sea. The kitchen area was well supplied with cooking equipment and even had a cupboard with a few basic needs like sugar, coffee and condiments. We slept very soundly in the nice clean and comfortable beds. There was a small reception area with a few toys and books and a place to relax. Outside there was ample private parking and a children's play area. I wouldn't like to be without the use of a car in this area as the roads would be dangerous to walk at night. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a bit of peace and quite in a good location.
