Lovely staff and gorgeous views

Pro: absolutely adorable staff, very clean hotel and gorgeous views, close to supermarkets and Khios, lovely private beach. Cons: the corridors are very noisy, we had booked the room with breakfast and would not recommend doing so as it was highly disappointing (we ended up eating breakfasts every day after day 3 outside), water is not included and you would be charged a euro a bottle, the hotel is very close to Karfas town but it was all shut (maybe because it is the end of the season/covid) We would recommend booking a car (we had a great experience with a local car company HT car rental and highly recommend them!)

Reviewed By JONYEMThis resort is situated on a hill overlooking Karfas Beach and our room had an excellent view of this beach. All of the rooms are very large, very modern, with a kitchen and a balcony. You are just a 5 minute walk to the beach where you will find some shops and beach front restaurants / tavernas. . We stayed in October and it felt like we had the entire resort and beach to ourselves.The weather was 77f in the day and 64f at night during our stay. It's supposedly gets very crowded during the summer months, especially in August. Breakfast is included and it was one of the best included breakfasts I had ever had. The pool and the pool area is large and the entire grounds are new and updated. We also had dinner at the resort restaurant and the food was excellent along with great views. The entire resort staff was so friendly, courteous, professional and seemed to be more than happy to answer any questions that may have about the local area. I wish I could remember all of their names because ALL of them were so nice. But I would like to give a special "Shout Out" to JOHN who was so helpful and had so much information to offer about the area and Chios Island. Greece was a "Bucket List trip" from a long list of places I want to see, but I really want to find the time in my life to make my way back there to enjoy it again. Thanks to all of the staff at The Sea View for making our stay wonderful

Reviewed By ylmzyldz85Right next to the beach with reasonable prices for accomodation. Also has a great restaurant with delicious Greek food. Could have been better if windows had mosquito nets, for their lack can be a nuisance. Highly recommended.

This hotel is within walking distance to Karfas and Karfas beach area that has several good beach bars and restaurants. The pool area is nice and you can get a coffee by the pool.

My experience at the Golden Sand
Reviewed By Markella MDo not waste your money, time, etc. This hotel is outdated. It is dirty. It is noisy. The staff is rude. The WiFi doesn’t work. To summarize. It was a horrible experience. I checked out the first night. The management was rude. I found another hotel that was the same price and it was so relaxing, clean and everything went smoothly. For not having a reservation at the other hotel, the team was very helpful and made my stay enjoyable. I asked the management of Golden Sand for a partial refund and they pretended they did not understand.

On the board of the bay just 30 meters from the sea and next to pinewood of Sain George you can find the newly built apartments " KARFAS SEA". There are studios (28m2 each) and apartments( 60m2 each one) with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and balconies with view to the sea. All the apartments have private bathroom, full equipped kitchen, refrigerator, TV, safe box, hairdryer and air-conditioning facilities. There is also a daily maid, garden and a private parking. Feel the blue near you...
Great location
Reviewed By pescetta_79I spent 1 week with my family. Dimitris -the owner- is very helpful. Our luggage didn't arrive with us and he called the airport for us the day after to get more information. He knows almost all the island as he is in turism business for 34 years. Ask him for restaurants, beaches, ect The apartment had one big terrace sea view and one smal terrace in the back. The rooms are cleaned every day. Spacious rooms, bathroom and a large kitchen/living room. There is a microwave, fridge, washing machine and a small kirchen area but you have all you need for a sea holiday. Very windy therefore be careful when you lay out the beach towels. I strongly suggest this place and again, Dimitris was a perfect owner!
