I Never experienced such a restaurantWe were three It was 8:00 pm. The waiter said that he had very few to propose So we had one scallop cooked in olive oil one too much grilled seabass and one glass of wine The food was crap and we paid more than 80 â¬Even the bill was supercharged with things we didnât hadWe are sorry about your bad experience and we take in account your feed back, but you have to understand, that we are a Restaurant Gallego and sea food and fish restaurant, that mean that we are preparing some delicates fresh, products from sea and the cost, in the center of the plaza and sea front in El Medano, is upper than another restaurant. I think that in England you would have had paid much much more money ? For people who read this message, please : it's a restaurant, where you have to invest more money that another one in El Medano, but if you do it you will eat very good, nothing it's for free: Thank you

We visited for two coffees, enjoying our table right on the waterside. The coffees were top quality, made from a proper coffe machine. At the next table guests were enjoying cocktails such as monitors, which looked great with plenty of ice and crushed lemons. A variety off riot smoothies are also available, all at a reasonable price. A display of fresh fish were on display, ready for lunch. The staff and ambience were all very pleasant.

Slightly off the tourist beat, in a residential area. Not pretentious and is family orientated. Excellent pasta dishes. I had the Large Seafood Spaghetti and the portion was BIG. But very nice. Fully recommend.

The starter of Serrano crokettes, served on a paper doyley with nothing, was underdone and lacking flavour, . So was the baked Hake. The Hake a la Vasqua far too salty. Both mains served with hardly any greens at E20 each quite overpriced. A little oasis at the end of La Tejita beach, The nature surrounding the beach is absolutely breath taking, especially the view of Montaña Roja. Chiringuito Pirata serves excellent tapas, at a very reasonable price.The staff are charming and friendly, nothing is a problem.The cleanliness of this establishment would put some other eateries to shame.No visit to La Tejita beach is complete without a visit to Chiringuito Pirata.

This is our 4th visit in past 2 years.We arrived at 2.20pm for our lunch not expecting the place to be packed with very noisy children only to be out done by the grown ups. Very Spanish , beware this is aexpensive place compared to others in medano and which in my opinion are better, one person ordered pan and a small 30 cent roll arrived cut into 4 pieces, the actual cost was 5 euros as all people on table were charged 1 Euro each ? I ordered leg of lamb 19 euros plus potatoes 4 Euro plus veg? a bottle of house wine my wife the same no starter no sweet total bill 68 Euro I did not leave a tip.We have Spanish friends who advised them to try this restaurant and we went with them , they were very disappointed. Wonât be going againEsta es nuestra 4ª visita en los últimos 2 años. Llegamos a las 2:20 pm para nuestro almuerzo y no esperábamos que el lugar estuviera lleno de niños muy ruidosos solo para que los adultos lo hicieran. Muy español, ten en cuenta que este es un lugar caro en comparación con otros en medano y que en mi opinión es mejor, una persona pidió pan y un pequeño rollo de 30 centavos llegó cortado en 4 pedazos, el costo real fue de 5 euros ya que todas las personas en la mesa 1 euro cada uno? Pedà pierna de cordero 19 euros más patatas 4 euros más verduras? una botella de vino de la casa mi esposa la misma no entrante no dulce cuenta total 68 euros No dejé propina. Tenemos amigos españoles que les aconsejaron probar este restaurante y fuimos con ellos, estaban muy decepcionados. No volveré a ir Desde la empresa lamentamos mucho no su desilusión con barios aspectos de su visita sólo comentarle que esperemos que si por casualidad algún dÃa se decide a visitarnos otra vez nos termine de esplicar los problemas que tuvo ya que no lo tenemos muy claro

Beautifully presented food and well thought out menu. The food is designed and served to share which gives a lovely experience and is very different from the standard restaurant food menus elsewhere. The staff were very attentive and explained the menu well. Definitely the best service we have experienced in the Canaries and matching Five Star fine dining in the UK. We visited twice in one week to make the most out of the menu and thoroughly enjoyed both visits.
