Been a couple of years since we were last in L'Estartit and were pleased to see this friendly, well run place is still as good as ever. Friendly staff, great food and drinks (especially the beers served in frozen glasses!!). Pleased to report that they still serve the best Bailey's Espresso around. Can't wait to be back again for the beer and burgers. Cheers

We've holidayed in the nearby El Delfin Verde for the last couple of years and the beach bar is a highlight we look forward to every year. It is the perfect location to chill out during the day but especially in the evening. Good quality, simple food is served and Mike and the staff are very welcoming. Look forward to getting back there next year.

We had a few meals here during our stay. We were welcomed with open arms and the staff were very friendly. Menu was good range and very well priced. For a family of 5 with drinks we ate for â¬40, an absolute bargain!

I have visited this establishment numerous times over the years, and have always been more than satisfied, hence my repeat visits, but have just had a terrible visit. The main complaint was that the gravy was a solid gelatinous mass and, had I been prepared to eat it, it would have required spooning out onto my plate as it certainly couldn't have been poured. It was like over thickened wallpaper paste, except stickier and probably not as tasty I asked the waitress what it was, as it certainly wasn't gravy "yes, that's gravy" she replied sarcastically as she flounced away. The next waitress was more polite, apologising and saying that she would speak to the"chef". Perhaps significantly, the proprietor was not on the premises at the time but I won't be taking the risk again so won't be re visiting.
