You can find my full length review on the Inne tab. In short, we left after a two hour wait on our food and it was not close to ready. VERY disappointed. The owner and her husband also bought the Old Mill and closed it because they can't even run one restaurant successfully. I can't speak about the taste of the food because it never came. It was a slow night too. Just poor ownership. The owner looked more worried about enjoying her establishment than running it. She should be walking around to every table to find out what her diners are experiencing so she's not shocked to find out that 2 hours in no food has been delivered to the table and her guests are walking.

Unless you know it's there, you won't find it.... Go to TonyHarpers Pizza and clam shack... go to the back.... ask for Pablo.... the secret password is Seafood Salad.... they take you to an elevator to the third floor... show the secret handshake... hop 3 times.... and you are in!!!!! Great bar with a view of the hamlet... drinks are a bit pricey and the selection is OK, but you can order food from downstairs and eat it in secret aways from the great unwashed masses at street level.... grass on the roof? Cool... barkeeps are nice, try the whiskey wings, you may cry.... they are that good. meow.

A nice place to eat after passing Inlet. Even on a Saturday night it wasnât particularly packed or loud. There is a full menu but a random assortment of sodas and limited beer/wine options. Great pizza and clams. There is inside and outside seating available but not a water view

Dined here after seeing the great reviews. My wife ordered a Delmonico Steak that came with Salted Boiled Potatoes which she enjoyed. A client at our table also ordered the same and was pleased, however he did mention he had some gristle on his steak, and there were two other parties at our table that enjoyed their meals. What I ordered was the Tequila Shrimp which came with about 6 or 7 Shrimp on a slop of rice with tomatoes, cilantro and garlic. Literally was about 4 cups of mush that was left behind as I was in a position where I did not want to return it as someone else was paying for dinner. Had the circumstances be different, I would have returned it. Horrible dish. Wait staff was good and professional. So sorry to hear you were not happy with your meal. We will certainly look into the rice and meat cutting. We hope you will try us again!

Great view, limited menu, prices too high for what it was. The service was wonderful, but again so disappointed by the menu as there were not enough options. Wanted a fruity dessert and was told they had no fruit! What?! go to the local store and get some! Only ate dinner, did not stay.

Beautiful view, inexperienced and unorganized waitstaff. There was a bit of confusion when seating tables, people were being called who had already been seated, some even eating their meals. We had about a 15 minute wait for a table on the patio. Staff seemed to be frustrated with each other- again, those experienced and those that weren't. There was no estimate on how long our wait would be so we didn't opt to go to the bar. Our waitress was kind to let us change from a picnic table in the full sun to a shaded corner table. She was very sweet but seemed to be unsure of things. Difficult to order beer from the table as there was no drink menu and the waitress wasn't sure what they had. We had hoped for some local or regional brews, but ended up sticking with national brands out of ease. We found the food to be of good quality, good flavor, and generous portions, so this was a plus. Fish sandwich was a good sized piece of breaded white fish, tartar sauce was outstanding. Hamburger had a good char on it and plenty of flavor. It took some time to get our food, but we enjoyed our beer and the lake views from the deck. Our well behaved dog was welcomed on the outside deck. We were offered a bowl of water for him, too. (Nice plus). Clean restrooms also a plus. We would stop again when in the area. It is a beautiful place, well maintained. If you are on a time crunch, this is not your place and there are many signs stating so. As tourists we didn't feel an overwhelming welcome, but enjoyed ourselves none the less.

First of all we only visit once a year when in old forge. This visit somewhat disappointing. Clam chowder bland, tasted mostly cream/milk not clam. Ground beef pizza had all of 7 pieces of Hamburg on it but 12 lbs of cheese. Salad promoted as having pear slices, blue cheese crumbles and mixed greens and candied walnuts actually had mostly white bits of lettuce, a few pieces of pear, non existent blue cheese but lots of walnuts. Previous visits were excellent, pizza was great. This time very disappointing. Service was very good.

Very casual option for lunch. Place was well attended by many but we were seated right away. Our server was pleasant and had suggestions and opinions on the selections. I opted for the French Dip. IT was meaty and the cheese was melted to perfection while the aus ju was warmed up perfectly for the dipping process. My wife and I shared the Spinach/Artichoke and Shrimp dip. The portion was quite small but was complimented by some nice garlic rounds for the dip. It was tasty but not too filling. My wife had the coconut shrimp with a raspberry dipping sauce. The great chili we saw being served looked delicious and she left wishing she had ordered that as part of her entree. Great place with a load of specialty beers if one was so inclined. Slickers is just on the edge of the lake towards the end of town. Worth the stop!!
