Really loved this place. Really interesting and eclectic decor, welcome antidote to the more traditional bars and restaurants in the town if your looking for something a bit more off beat/creative. Food was fantastic, changing daily depending on what the ownners want to make and included dishes from all around the world. Especially loved the home made cakes and desserts! Good local bretange beers. We didn't see any bands when we visited, but was told that they put on loads of different bands/djs approx once a month. Couple who own/run the bar are really lovely and there is a fantastic welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The owners also speak English, which was good for me as can't speak French very well! We stayed in the holiday rent cottage in grounds behind the bar, (space for 2 only) fantastic views of the town, great spec inside as recently done, really reasonable rent. Although near the bar, because of hill top location of cottage it was really relaxing staying there, no noise at night sitting outside the cottage and felt like we were genuinely away from it all. Pon Aven and surrounding area beautiful as well. Bar is realy central but tucked away up a street near the main square (about 1 mins walk) so look for the sign or google map/facebook it to make sure you don't miss it!

Lunchtime in a very wet Pont Aven. Saw the sign for this place (down a passageway leading to the river.) And went in, really to get out of the rain.There is a terrace - not surprisingly unoccupied today! And a dining room overlooking the river.The menu offered salads, sandwiches and other dishes. We went for croque messieurs. These came with some nice chips (fries) and salad. Friendly welcome and quick service.Good value.

From the village, one can take a pathway of appox. 100 steps to arrive at a modern restaurant overlooking a beautiful garden. Food is eclectic with both traditional and modern cusine

We decided to opt for pizza here and after having pizza at the campsite, I can confirm that this was far superior and offered better value for money. We opted for cheese pizza for the kids, calazone and creamy base need pizza,which was very different to what you can get in the UK but also very delicious... would definitely go back if we are in the area again....

Love, love, love this restaurant and its staff.Its in the hamlet of Tremorvezen, opposite a fabulous church.The front of this building is a bar - with bags of character - and in a big room behind the bar, overlooking the garden, there is a restaurant. The only thing served here is crepes and galettes. But the range is fabulous and there is a lovely selection of meat free savoury pancakes. We ate here several times and could not fault anything. The food was excellent and the staff were so welcoming and pleasant.The lemon curd crepe is just incredible.

Visited at lunch time with a 3 and 5 year old. Staff all very friendly and our seats overlooked the beach and ocean. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the food was pretty good. I recommend the bacon burger, Was delicious. 50 euros for 4 of us so not bad on pricing. You can park in a small public car park a couple of mins away.
