We visited Santa Barbara as a day trip from LA and it was such a refreshing trip. Santa Barbara itself is absolutely beautiful and the restaurants/bars in the local area all looked fantastic. One that really stood out was Finney's so we decided to stop off for a bite of lunch. It is located on the road just opposite the pier so a prime location. Their craft beer menu was impressive and food menu also seemed right up our street (serving everything from pizza, burgers, tacos etc). We ordered pepperoni pizza & some chicken tacos (as well as beers and cocktails) we were very impressed with the quality and timing of the food. The only downside was the service wasn't great and half the time we had to stop the servers from congregating at the till having a catch-up and gossiping to try and get their attention. The toilets were clean and located at the back of the restaurant and there is an outdoor seating area during the hotter months. Whilst we was there a mariachi band came and played songs like "La Bamba" etc for tips which we really enjoyed. Overall, aside from the average levels of service, we still had a fab time!Instagram: @journeywithuss

Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co.'S Santa Barbara taproom features indoor and outdoor table seating with all of their core beers on tap and ready "to go" in bottles. You can also choose from a rotating list of specialty and cask beers found only in our taproo
My husband and I were staying one night in Santa Barbara while driving from San Francisco to LA. My husband likes trying local beer whenever we visit somewhere, we wandered around Santa Barbara and discovered Figuero Mountain brewing co. It had a nice looking beer gardens and was local so we went in for a drink. The beer was nice and it had a nice relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting in the beer garden under the string of lights.

We are a casual bistro with a California farm-to-table influence in a casual, family friendly environment
Nice little wine bistro with outside seating - perfect for nice warm sunny afternoon. And, as a bonus - wonderful live music adding to the atmosphere.

Great selection of alcohol. Good sports coverage. Was nice to have some hearty Irish/British food whilst travelling California. Sausage and mash was âbangingâ! Service very attentive. Reasonable price on food and drinks. Sausage rolls are great! Ask for tomato sauce though!
