Ideal burger game in the area, bright modern interior, focused and well trained staff, a newer chain sticking itself into the college crowd and from what I've heard and seen here twice it'll be a winner. I've had a few apps which some were small for the price and lacking that unique tray to hold the avocado stuff and hummus better than a wood plank (wings seemed a big small and not fresh for the price) but very flavor filled and easy to put down. My one burger (Stilton) so far goes on top of everything else in Lafayette. Only Red Robin's Mad Love makes me more excited for a slice of cow. Hoping the rewards program starts giving back soon, not a cheap place - difficult to be under $15 here with tip. DT Kirby's and 5 Guys are hard to beat for gross indulgence and value (respectively). Bru is doing alright sticking it between both and offers one of the best atmospheres of all area eateries.

O'Charley's

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.

From my last visit here I remembered O'Charley's to be a lively dynamic restaurant. At this visit for an early supper I found the interior of the restaurant to be in need of "sprucing up." The ladies restroom had a damp musty smell. Our server as well as the others on duty were just doing their jobs without enthusiasm or smile. We were served 3 rolls for a party of 2. But my entree was quite good. I ordered the peach chutney chicken and enjoyed it.

We visited Teays River Brewing and Public House for dinner with a large group of neighbors. Our server was great! I ordered the grilled pork tenderloin which was delicious. I enjoyed the fries that accompanied the sandwich. I also got a side of the garlic coleslaw but I did not like the taste...too liquid. Overall a good meal.

Met a friend for lunch at 11:30 and were about the only ones there. This is a locally-owned place, exposed brick, and an arty vibe. We began with the back wrapped dates that were hot and tasty. My friend enjoyed the Banh Mi sandwich with chicken tortilla soup. I had the soup only and was pleased with the tender chunks of chicken in a savory, not too spicy base. The fresh-brewed iced tea was also tasty with refills on the table in a carafe that showed the attractive clear amber. Maybe a dozen diners had arrived by the time we left about 1, so you won’t have to fight crowds on a weekday, and it’s worth a visit.

Sgt Preston's of the North

Canadian inside themed after the popular Sgt. Preston of the Yukon. American style cuisine with friendly staff and fun environment!

We had lunch at Sgt Preston’s of the North after a visit to our financial advisor. It was great to relax after a meeting filled with numbers. My cheeseburger was really tasty cooked exactly as I ordered. The fries here are large and always crispy outside and tender inside. Coleslaw is great and the wine is always served at the correct temperature!

Been here many times. This was the first time I ate the Paddles (wings). They were tepid, fatty, tasted terrible. I have eaten other food here and it was fine. Onion rings are really good. Beer options are good, but the wings SUCK.

I was meeting a friend from Indianapolis and wanted to choose a place that would be open later. We met at Lafayette Brewing Company because I knew she liked craft beer. Our experience was okay. The pork I ordered was just so so. The fries were good. I do not drink beer so I was happy to be able to order a glass of wine. At least we had a great time catching up!

Just love this restaurant/pub! Our favorite place to go when visiting our nephew at Purdue and where my mom wanted to go for her 80th birthday luncheon on Sunday. The service is always excellent as well as the food! Shout out to Natalie for taking such great care of us (mom, sister, nephew, spouse and myself)! The food was delicious; fish and chips, steak and herbed mashed potatoes, Reuben and chips, hamburger with caramelized onions and chips, and Irish nachos with chips (notice a trend with chips..that’s because they’re hand sliced rounds and awesome!). The bread pudding was the birthday choice and it was the best bread puddings ever! We also met Jerry, the owner who was wonderful and took time to wish mom a happy birthday, an Irish mist toast and share a fun joke. Thank you Nine Irish Brothers for making mom’s birthday such a wonderful experience!!! She loved it and we can’t wait for the next visit!Thank you for bringing your mother in on such an auspicious birthday! We sincerely appreciate the feedback and your patronage!

The food and service are wonderful. We had the Shepard’s pie and the Irish Stew. They were all delicious and hearty. We ordered the 1/2 size potion dinners, they still had a generous amount of food. The waiter was very attentive. The prices reasonable. The decor was an old Irish pub style. Very nice. If I lived in this area we would frequent regularly.Thank you so much! We appreciate your review and, of course, your patronage! Slainte!
