Wings are only 45 cents each on Mondays, but I'm not sure they were even worth it at that price. They were very small. I got the Cajun dry rub, which was extremely salty. My husband got the sriracha bourbon sauce, which was sweet instead of spicy. We'll go back cuz we like their burgers and beer, but we won't be ordering wings again.

Went on a Saturday at 2pm. Waited 10 minutes before the waitress even said hello. Another 45 minutes for our food to come. Mainly a bunch of bros shooting pool and dropping F Bombs. I get it, it’s a college bar. But it was 2pm and there were families with kids eating too. Burger was tasty. Probably not to Jules Winfield.

Trotters Tavern

Reviewed By richmondc2013

After reading all the positive reviews for Trotters we were really looking forward to dinner there. Unfortunately the whole experience was one disappointment after another. The first was when I ordered a bourbon and ginger-ale and got a Jack and Coke. The second, which should have been a red flag was when the salads came with dressing with so much vinegar they were almost impossible to eat. Then after waiting 45 min for our steaks while we watched our server drink and carry on at the bar with other servers, the bartender and kitchen staff our dinner arrived. (This was in addition to a very loud drunken birthday celebration two tables away.) What was described as a marinated steak dinner turned into a Trotter's gag fest. The steak, served on a platter soaking in vinegar, was inedible. Reviews for this "house specialty" were so favorable that we can only surmise that vinegar soaked steak must be the Ohio recipe for marinade. It's really too bad that our one night in Bowling Green left us with the sour taste of vinegar in our mouths.

Stones Throw Tavern and Grill

Stopped with family at 4:45 pm on a Saturday afternoon just before the dinner crowd arrived. The place has a nice atmosphere but is not cohesive in design. However, two people in my party ordered the Shepherd's Pie - the waitress said it was one of their most liked Entrees. It was on the top of the entree list so we both ordered it.Waitress came back a few minutes later and told us they only had one serving left. Remember - Saturday almost evening! I was not happy. Ordered some Cider Chicken that was very bland and had no flavor. The portions were good, but that's about it.The other party person said the Shepherd's Pie was very salty and tasted package prepared. We were not impressed with our choice of restaurants in Bowling Green and will not come back.

This place seems to be slipping. Service was not good.....friendly but very slow and didn't seem to notice that we had no water and didn't finish wine or Cole slaw (it wasn't very busy but perhaps understaffed?). Wine was awful, food was average. The menu was more interesting in the past and seems to have moved to a burger place. We probably won't return.

So we generally love IPA’s. While Reverend’s had lots of interesting beers on tap, only two IPA’s with both over a 9% alcohol content. Yellowfin taco special was very good but the meatloaf seemed like basically a burger with tomato sauce on top. We were rushed through our meal by our server.
