We were starving and I haven't been to a Straw Hat since I was a kid.We had two flavours pizza, pretty tasty and lots of topping. Also ordered Medium wings. Meh. Dry rub, I prefer wet. Also had mozzerella sticks that were good. Only allowed one trip to salad bar A lot of choices. The gal who took our order could have been a little more helpful and friendlier, but she wasn't rude so that counts.

I have always walked passed the place but today I stopped and went in. You can order whole pizza or by the slice. I came in for the slice. They charge $3.25/slice with 2-3 toppings of your choice. It was about a ten minute wait for the pizza. Taste wise: it was okay and the size of the slice was reasonable.the place is very clean with plenty of seating.

The pizza is very cheap, and the quality is down toward the bottom, also. I tried it twice, and regretted it both times.

This place is fairly new but they have been around for almost a year. I had two slices of the combination which was very good. I showed up before 12 noon so they had many different choices of pizza. You can buy by the slice and it was a good size portion. The seating is very limited which behooves you to do take out. The server was very courteous. The two slices came out to $8.19.

No surprises here. Its your typical Round table Pizza. However, do be aware that there is often kids parties at this particular location in case that's a problem for you. Other than that its like most Round tables. Good pizza that's just over priced LOL.

Cassidy's Pizza

Reviewed By ieatskunk

This is an old school pizza place. When you walk in you take a step back in time to when dine-in was the standard way to eat your pizza. I don't want to over-hype, but this is among the best pizzas out there.PROS:Awesome pizza. Everything about it is great, the perfect balance of flavors and texture. Fresh ingredients and the sauce ties it all together. We travel through Watsonville once a year and this place is ALWAYS the first stop. If the novelty of a hole-in-the-wall food spot with some really, really great food appeals to you then you will be delighted with Cassidy's. The staff is friendly, the place is always hopping (whenever we've gone) and the prices are reasonable even without coupon. CONS: Like I said, you take a step back in time so the interior is outdated, however it was well maintained.OVERALL: Do you like Pizza? Then go over there right now.
