Had a walk with hubby and i one morning picked parked on the kerb next to the cafe they had tablyinside and out we sat outside with a beautiful view of the bay .Was served properly by a very friendly guy still early so ordered coffee and scones .. coffee was hot with a huge cup scones came with fresh blackberrys and fresh cream they were hot and light and yummy they had a good menu for lunch or dinner will definitely go back great cafe great food would definitely recommend it ... but get threre early as parking is limited

What a rude arrogant person this one is behind the bar!! The one with tatts all over him as he wouldnt give me his name. After spending the day at Nelson Bay the kids and I ordered a large cheese pizza here patiently waiting 30 mins before then asking him if it would be coming out soon. Well was not expecting what was then to come out of his mouth! Telling me I had bad attitude and if I didnt like it to leave! Hey im not the one that forgot to even put the order through here and im sure thats no way to speak to a customer. Got my money back, rang your manager then went to Murrays Brewery which is 5 stars compared to here. Will not be back and as a local "word of mouth counts"! Honestly hospitality does not suit this person!!!

This is a gem. Delicious food prepared by a chef who frantically dashes around his small kitchen with a serenely calm demeanour. He is in control. And his work is terrific. Good selection of pizza with a crispy base. Three little pigs, and the seafood are both great. Wife loves the very cheap but very fancy salads. Nice selection of wine, (bottle shop on premises) and three beers on tap, including a coopers (meh) a wheat beer (not my thang) and a home grown âcellar lagerâ (delicious!). Service is home town/family and super friendly. Strongly recommend either dining in or getting takeaway to one of the parks with ocean views. Best value in Fingal, Shoal or Nelson Bay.

With not many places open on a public holiday and a chill wind blowing pizza seemed a good option. We werenât disappointed. Excellent base and toppings.

Friday night and we had no booking, they cleared a table for us quickly and we at down to order. Lots of choice from traditional Italian pizzas to bizarre toppings that shouldnât work but absolutely do! Pasta was delicious, pizzas were delectable and we were stuffed!
