It is part of the New York metropolitan area, 21.6 miles (34.8 km) southwest of Manhattan and 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Staten Island. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city's population was 27,346, reflecting an increase of 846 (+3.2%) from the 26,500 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,175 (+4.6%) from the 25,325 counted in the 1990 Census.

Pizza Time by far has the best pizza in the area. Only downside is there is no delivery. They do have a large dining area which is good. I have a toddler that is fond of tantrums so I tend to avoid dining out so that others can enjoy their meal. Delivery would be amazing for this pizzeria.

You can order the tasty traditional Italian entrees such as Marsala, Parm and standard pastas but they have an extended menu where there are many entrees not normally seen locally. Shrimp with Broccoli Rabe, Seafood Canollini, Short Ribs with Risotto, Italian Stuffed Sole. To be honest we have never had the pizza, we are spoiled by another local institution. We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor...We were traveling through the area. It is a local establishment, not fancy and not very big. However, the menu was extensive and the beer selection was huge. Prices are very reasonable. The pizza and wings were great. The pizza is thin and crispy. A great experience overall.

We liked the friendly servers, the broad menu, and the reasonable wine list. The gorgonzola salad was good, but it was downhill from there. The individual pizza, served on a plastic plate, was thin and oily, the calzone was average, the pasta dishes were ok.I started the meal really wanting this to become a new favorite, but at the end Iâm not sure I would go back again. It was all ok, but just average, not something special we thought.

Michelino's in Rahway can't be their best effort. Pizza is below average (I'm from NYC originally so I feel like I can rate that accurately) and other dishes are far from gourmet and inconsistent. One day, you'll get a really decent meal and then order the same thing weeks later and it's terrible. Frequent mistakes are made on take-out orders and the website hasn't been working well in ages. I've tried to discuss this with the manager but, he wants nothing to do with hearing complaints.

I came here before Clint Black's preformance at UPAC, had a quick bite. then ordered food for later. The show got out at around 11pm and he stayed open I feel only to get me my food. Thank you. It has a older pizzaria atmosphere, great food at a very modest price. We had the Eggplant parm hero and a salad. Delicious. Thanks again

Started with a Arugula salad with all the toppings, amazing Meatballs, fresh ricotta rolled eggplant and Parmesan Encrusted chicken. Once again, amazing. They will make you any Wood Fired Pizza you can think of. All of the food had such a wonderful taste. But not only was the food excellent, the service was A-one. Very attentive owners, as well as the waitress. Overall the presentation of the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the friendly atmosphere and the delicious desserts will be just some of the reasons I will definitely be going back.

We visited for a quick lunch, and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive, and interchanged with one another serving us. The bread was warm and tasty, and they delivered another basket half way thru. There was a special lunch menu that looked interesting, but my one companion was looking forward to their famous shrimp parm hero, and my other friend ordered from the gluten free menu. Her ravioli were fine, but I thought a bit expensive considering the other menu items. The shrimp hero was good, just a little too seasoned for me. I would have liked some additional lighting, as it was a business lunch, and not a romantic dinner. However, I would recommend this restaurant , and it is BYOB, a real plus.

The pizza is what they are known for, and I wanted to try it. The thin crust was carefully done,but the overall flavor was just average, I thought. Everything was ok but not amazingly so- typical bar interior, friendly staff, semi- cold beer, but the kitchen was slow and all the tables were waiting. My pizza took more than an hour.Prices were slightly on the high side: salad, pizza, two beers and with tip youâre hitting $50. Free parking 2 hrs in city garage across the street.
